Big River Grille and Brewing Works ~Boardwalk ? Busy?

I understand that you can't book a ressie for this place... Has anyone ate here recently? Is it really, really busy? I don't want to cancel a ressie I've already made for Mama Melrose that day if its really busy and a wait to get in?
We are going the 3rd week in January...

We have eaten there different times of the year (April, June, & December) and have never waited, but we do eat at off times late lunch or an early dinner. We enjoy eating at Big River Grille, servings are large enough that we can split an entree sometimes and not over eat.

We ate there last night. Party of 6, we had about a 20-minute wait for a table.

You can actually book a reservation. You can call the restaurant directly within 30 days of your desired booking. Or, at least you could during the summer of 2010, the last time we ate there. It can't hurt to try!

I stay at the BWV and eat at Big River everytime and have not waited longer than 5-10 minutes for a table...inside or outside.

My wife and I ate there twice last May, once for dinner and once for lunch and neither time we had to wait for more than 10 minutes for a table. As far as the food goes, not sure if the time made any difference but dinner was much better than lunch. Our dinner was our first experience there and we liked it so much we went back for a lunch later in the week and it just didn't come close to our pervious meal.
