Big River Grill?

Hello,

When I look online you cannot make a reservation for the Big River Grill? Anyone know why?

It was on our list of places to eat in March and now I'm wondering if I need to select a different place instead.

It's not owned by Disney, and the restaurant's apparently chosen not to make itself available over the Disney reservation system.

You can find a direct number and call them, but they'll probably tell you you don't need a reservation - that's what I usually see here when people have called them.

we really enjoy big river for lunch. it makes a nice break from epcot.

Last time we ate there, we did call ahead (before our vacation) and make a reservation. I think the lady did say that it probably wasn't necessary but she did take our reservation anyway. And, we had to call them direct back then as well.

When I called the restaurant to ask once, they say they take reservations about a month out. They do say you don't really need them, and we've eaten there a few times without ever having one. But it does get very busy and packed on the Boardwalk, so you might consider it anyway.

Because we are going in Dec during free dining we decided to make an ADR for our Dec trip. I called 407-560-0253. The CM said they do take the DDP and it is one credit. We've never eaten there, but thought we'd try it for lunch one day.

It is located at the Boardwalk.

We love brew pubs which is why we want to try it, and we are trying to do more of our meals at the resorts so we have a different experience from the past two times we have been to Disney.

We've only eaten there once, and it was pretty awesome and we had great service.

We liked it, but we expected very little due to the poor reviews I've seen for it. Beer was good. Food was a pleasant surprise - fresh salad, hot soup, nice location!
