Recently we had a really bad experience at this restaurant concerning the food, staff/service and the restaurant itself. Not at all disney.
We tried complaining at the restaurant (not much help there) and back at our resort again no real response.

Please could someone help me by letting me know who else I could go to?

Thanks

Phil:confused:

Groosch...sorry that you had a bad experience....just go to disneyworld.com...contact us....guest communications and send them an email...they do read them, and often respond to them.
Hope this helps! :)

Just as an FYI, The Big River Grill is one of the nonDisney establishments onsite. They rent the space from Disney.

Thanks for the replies I will try to contact Disney and see what happens.

What went wrong?

Currently the restaurant is undergoing refurbishment not sure if they should have remained open. Conditions not very nice and cramped.

We have been before on previous trips not had a problem.

When we arrived had a problem getting a table although there seemed to be plenty. When we got our table(for 2) very cramped. Our server was very dissinterested. Had to wait a long time for drinks. Never offered a refill. Our food arrived my wifes chicken was not cooked, it was raw inside. Told our server his response would you like it cooked longer. Replaced meal but no appology. Did not see the server again until we decided to give up and ask for the bill from another server. Told not their table. In the end I had to go and ask the girl at the reception desk.
Then our server reappeared and reminded me without asking how the meal was that service was not included. I agreed sarcastically, no reaction.
On the way out mentioned the problems again to the girl at recption desk again no reaction.

Overall not very Disney and I would not go there again.

I am NOT excusing a single bit of the hideous service you received, but I am curious...

Are you by chance British? Others have posted that they received similar attitude because their accent is more London than Cleveland, and so servers assume that you won't tip. :( (Which is, needless to say, inexcusable, unfounded, and ridiculous.)

Edited to say that I just noticed the "location" in your profile - duh!!! at myself! So I think it probably was the same issue as others have posted.

We enjoyed the meal we ate there but had bad service as well. I had a hazel nut encrusted chicken that was great. DW ordered the special which was fish. When the bill arrived the price on the special was about $8 more than the waiter told us it was going to be. Opps! We were treated as though we should have to prove what we were told. Not good business. The food, for us, was very good though.
