Big River Brewery at Boardwalk

Christine and I went here on Sunday Night. FANTASTIC Food! We were very impressed with this place, Christine had the Ribs and I had the Meatloaf--EXCELLANT! Nice Prices too! Just a little cramped when it comes to table space. ESPN club had a 1 hour or more wait! Spoodles also, and Flying Fish was expensive! I would go here again!

Glad to hear you liked the Big Grille. This was always my family's first night restaurant - we'd walk the Boardwalk then have dinner. Last summer though, we didn't enjoy our dinner as much as before. Glad to hear its still good!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. We have tried it twice, thinking the 1st bad meal there was a fluke, but no...it just was not that good. Only my opinion. The waiter was excellent though!

Question - Do they have a full bar, where you can just sit and have a beer and an appetizer?

Krissalee, yes they have a small full service bar where you can have a cocktail and eat.

Glad to here you had a good experience. We have eaten their a couple of time with mixed reviews. We enjoyed it more eating outside people watching, but I always enjoy the beer.

We ate there once two years ago and the food was not good. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable ( I'm 6'2" and 225).
Hope the above review means they have made some positive changes.

I love the location of the BRG. The food has definately slipped, the menu is outdated and the service (in September) was lousy. But, it is still on our must do list because of the location. I absolutley adore sitting outside on the BW watching the world go by. I wish they would expand the appetizers and entrees a bit, something healthy would be GREAT.

We ate at Big River once, and it smelled really yeast-y in there- I know, I know, it's a brewery, but it was not very appetizing. We thought the food was mediocre at best.

We love to get an outside table in the early evening and watch the people go by on the Boardwalk! We like the burgers and the huge salads!
