Big News From Disney at 1PM EST Today?

I went to yahoo.com and this is an advertisement that is showing up on the main page. Hmmm, wonder what the big news is? Maybe a 40% code for everyone?

Disney has a blurb on their site about it, too. I did notice that in the rules of the YOMD contest that they were going to start awarding one-night stays in the castle suite to park guests on January 25th, so maybe we're going to get to see the first lucky people to win that "dream."

This morning they were talking about the castle suite on the news. Maybe that's what they are announcing at 1pm?

Of course inside my heart I am hoping that the announcement would be a 40% off rack rates!

That's odd....I went to yahoo.com and the Disney ad has been replaced with the Yahoo! Tech ad. I've not been able to find anything about it on disney.com either.

On yahoo.com there is an advertisement for Disney Parks and if you click on it, it takes you to the disney website where it says announcement at 1pm.

Allearsnet.com is listing the first family to stay in the Castle last night so I am betting it is the announcement they are having.

Good Morning America was live at the MK yesterday morning with the first family to stay at the castle suite. They showed them going in and being greeted by the princesses and Cinderella, of course! Apparently, GMA awarded this all expense paid visit to this family as a result of the letter that the wife submitted to ABC/GMA. Nice to see actual footage of the new suite...IT'S JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!
