They could possibly announce the west coast version of WDW, with cruise ships to Hawaii, Alaska, and Mexico. DVC resorts, one in Hawaii and two in California, along with the 1.5 billion dollar upgrade to California Adventure being completed by 2012. A third gate theme park in California, along with a third DVC. AK is home to Beastly Kingdom, and the Poly is the next DVC after completion of the second DVC Tower at Contemporary.

I'm hoping that they will announce that DVD is going to slow down on adding new and focus on improving the existing.

Controlled access to DVC property, parking lots and transportation.

A through rehab of the existing DVC Resorts.

Improved food choices at DVC Resorts.

Better Cast Member training.

And last but not least...

Better Mousekeeping with someone who actually checks on the quality of their work.

The DVC should be a place where "good enough, isn't".

Ha! Totally agree, however what you are suggesting are EXPENDITURES, DVD is looking for REVENUE. But we can allways dream!!

never heard this rumor but our last trip there last December my 5 year old said to me I wish Seaworld was Disney....

anywho i think it will be the new celebration in store since the "year of a million dreams" ends in December.

i know a bunch of you do not want to see expansion however I live in California and i'm all for expansion to the west..

The problem is that nine times out ten when we start hearing Disney generated rumors about big news coming, it ends up being something along the lines of: "We are raising our reservation fee for trades out of DVC to $95 from $75 and adding the Disney WDW hotels to the list of trades that will require that fee because that is what our members really wanted."

I know -- I was so confused by is it free or is it $75? Having everything at $95 is so much simpler to remember. If DVC doesn't stop helping members soon I'm going to be in the poorhouse with no reservations anywhere.
