Was in a HUGE book store and saw a copy of THE EVERYTHING GUIDE TO WDW by Jason Rich. According to the book, no matter which WDW resort you are staying at, you are more than welcome to go swimming at Stormalong Bay at Beach Club Villas, so head on over and dive right in! The book was published in 98, so it came out after Disney stopped the practice of pool hopping for reguar Disney guests. I looked up the book on Amazon and according to some of the readers reviews he got a few other things wrong, like calling Coronado Springs COLORADO Springs.

I read this book. It has lots of problems. But why would anyone buy a book that hasn't been updated since 1998?

I think a lot of people pick up the first book with the prettiest cover and don't look at the years..... they may think - aw heck - what's changed in 5 years?

You were never allowed to go swimming at another resort while staying at WDW. Of course people did it. That is another story.
