Big Love Series Finale

So glad someone pointed out who the woman in the vision at church was. I thought it was Lois as a younger woman. I didn't get that significance, so now it makes sense. Was there a resolution to CaraLynn? Was it just the brief talk in the kitchen she had with Nicki, or did we see her in the last scene?

I wondered why Nicki was in black, while the rest were not.

Ok...I get Big Love on Netflix so I'm a season behind. I just finished season 4, and I know I will have to wait at least a year before season 5 is on DVD (had to wait about a year between 3 and 4). I am posting this without reading even the OP....trying to decide if I want to know everything that happens in season 5 right now! I might forget it all in a year, right??

I didn't catch Heather and Bens wedding rings until I watched the show the second time. So he chose ONE wife, interesting. I also thought Barb was always his one true love, and he asked her for the blessing almost as telling her he approved FINALLY. He did say he built the church for her.

My question though did Frank in your opinion also give himself the injection? Irony how in the church when they talked about eternal family he locked eyes with Lois and then they both die on the same day.popcorn::

It was also good to see Nicki daughter looking "normal" at the end. Meaning she gave up the clothes and the braid look.

But lastly DON'T like Margene with the pixie hair cut. :dance3: just saying, ha...

Was Cara Lynn in the last scene and I just didn't see her? Also I agree, Margene's haircut :scared1: With ears like hers....she should really consider a hairstyle that covers them.

i loved the finale, even though i was sad to see bill go. I really couldn't think of a better way to end it because like someone else said, it allowed the wives to live their own lives.

I think they tied up as many loose ends as possible. We know they lost the store, alby goes to jail, bill's mom dies, ben gets married, sarah has a baby, the wives move on. My 2 unaswered questions were: What happens to ana's baby and what happens to joey and wanda.

I'll miss big love, but it was time to move on after season 4. They really messed up with that season. In my eyes, they redeemed themselves this season though.

now bring on naked eric and true blood!

amen!!!!!

There was an entire interaction with her about 4 episodes ago. Bill walked into a room and her and a few other founding fathers of the Mormon church were there and so was his mom. I agree the Lois and her looked a lot alike and I wonder if that has to do with the idea that Bill was the true prophet.

You should get HBO for just one month (but do it now once the entire series is all stored on "On Demand") and watch them all over the course of a week since there are only 10. We have done that in the past for Big Love and Dexter. Once we only got Showtime for 2 weeks until we watched what we wanted then cancelled.

So sad it's over :( I didn't realize Ben was supposed to be married, I thought he was just "together" with Heather. Isn't he only like a senior in High school? But I guess Sarah got married at that age

Yep watched the clip on youtube, found her...didn't notice Cara Lynn being there the first 2 times I watched that scene lol.

Does anyone know who sang the theme song at the end of the show? It sounded like Dixie Chicks, but I'm not sure!
