Big Lots score!!!

IDK if Big Lots is a nationwide chain....but I got such a deal yesterday... I have been eyeing the Ninja Blender/kitchen system for many months now....I cook all our meals at home, and use my cheapo blender so often....Consumer reports had done an article that this system is the closest rival to the Vitamix (the holy grail) for way less $$$...but I still couldn't bring myself to spend 179.00 on the setup,(even with the extra shop points)..... Well Big Lots had them yesterday, factory re-serviced, for 69.00 for the same setup! Brought it home, tried it out (this thing is a monster!) and it is perfect,brand new! I still can't believe how efficiently it works.... I got the one with the food processor bowl thingy too...now I just have to figure out how to use it!

I love my Ninja! I was so excited when I got it that the first thing I did with it was ground up some chicken for my ferrets. Long story short, some how I forgot to check inside the blades and left chicken up in there. Don't know how it got inside in the first place but lets just say OMG it smelled so bad the next time I went to use it. The funny part is that it sits on my counter and the lid seals it so well that for a month (yes a month) we didn't even smell the rotting chicken.!

Moral of the story triple check when your cleaning it!! LOL Enjoy your ninja!

However, since this is a reconditioned piece it has me wondering if I'm missing parts. How many attachments were in your box? I only have 4.
