Big Lots Find

I always stop in Big Lots. I get a lot of my fiber there.
So I look in the paper section (which is where I found my vellum I used in the May monthly elements) and they had this totally awesom Making Memories Paper.

i love to go there and poke around. last time i found a ton of good stuff. i need to stay away from the stores. i have spent so much in the past month...... i need to stay away. maybe i could actually get a page done if i stayed out of the stores!!

Well on the one side, Big Lots does NOT sell Sizzix. But on the other side, they do sell MM, Jolees, and Colorblok.

oooh lovely! I was in a store near here ther other day and found Xyron kits with an 8x8 album, papers, brads, stickers and tags for £1!

They also had the cats stuff at our local Big Lots.

good news my son was picked to be vip when the get back from vacation and was given a penant to decorate all about him.......the bad news is he asked if we could go to michaels to get some stuff to decorate it.......ooohhhh booooyyyy. must be strong, must be strong..........i'm going to have to put my disney braclet on and just keep looking at it while i past the sizzix isle..... i'm not looking....i'm not looking..... not looking, not not not looking.....

Well the first thing that came to my mind was black & white with Silver lettering. But then I realized I don't know what it means to be the vip at school. So what does it mean? Is about the school or about him? If him, is to express his interests?

he's the vip for the school for the week. it's all about him. the pennant they gave us is just white cardboard cut in the shape of a pennant. i just dont know if i should put a backround paper or just decorate it as is?? and what else to put on it besides pics of him. i thought maybe some stickers of his favorite things....pics of him with his cousins, my mother.....just can't make up my mind.

What about stripes in his favorite color so the background is not stark.
Pictures of him doing his favorite things would be good. If you don't have stickers, clipart printed out on cardstock glues up nice.
