Ok... somehow I agreed to help my Mother book rooms for my extended family to go to DL this July.
My DDs and I will be there at the same time, but after asking you all previous questions I think we will stay with our PPH reservations . (We are use to GCH or PPH).
Here is the deal....
My Mother is paying for all the rest of the rooms for my sisters and their children so she feels that onsite is too much. There will be - my Mother and her husband - one sister with 2 teenage daughters - one sister with 5 kids from age 14 to infant.
They want easy walking distance. What hotels do you all recommend? What room configurations?

I am up for any suggestions.

Lana :)

HoJo, Tropicana, CCI, API, good hotels with rooms that will hold a few people. :)

Check out Desert Inn and Suites. Right across the street and they have a suite with 2 rooms with 2 queen beds and a sleeping sofa. Not fancy, but clean and close.

Fairfield Inn by Marriott is more hotel style and each rooms has two double beds and a pull out sofa. They also have suites that hold more people.

Thank you. It looks like no matter what they have to have 2 rooms. Unless one of my older nieces wants to stay with us.

Can 10 people stay in the DI&S suite? Or is that just WAY too crowded?
(I personally can't stand the crowded rooms, but my Mother and youngest sister would probably love the "family" time.)

At DI&S there is a Family Parlour Suite that can sleep 10, but I would have your Mom call ASAP because it books up. Good Luck. :)

Can't get any closer than this hotel. Breaky included, clean room, helpful staff. Stayed in Oct. 2012. Will stay again.

After I did all the research on this, she announced to my DDs and I that she decided she didn't want to go!!!!
Anyone know when she will stop driving me nuts?

Thanks Larina. I may take my girls and go anyway. We will be there in 3 weeks, so I don't know...
