Is it true that the harry Potter ride (Sorry, I don't know what it is called:scared1::scared1:) cannot be ridden by extra large people? My 2 big boys are making a trip to Universal in October, and I want to let them know what to expect. They are tall and large. Is there a "test seat" somewhere? Thank you!

Perfect! Thank you! Hard to tell if they will fit or not! Guess they will have to try the test seat. I think one son will make it..the other...maybe not.:sad1::sad1:

Put their height and weight in the thread and perhaps someone who is approximately the same size will answer back. That's the best you can do without physically being in the park.

Tell them to try anyway. Quite a few people didn't fit in the test seats but fit inside and were able to ride. The inside of the castle is also amazing so they should check it out. Hope they have a blast/ Let us know what they think.

I had some family members visit the parks lately and from everything I read I was certain they would not be able to ride, they however got on,maybe it wasn't an easy fit as I heard one had a tough time getting the harness down but he got on nonetheless.I was a little worried I would have some problems getting on as I'm going later this week but after seeing they were able to ride,I know I will have no problems at 5'10,200 as they're both around my height, maybe an inch taller but are 30-50 pounds more than me.

I just got back from Universal Orlando. I am a big guy-- 6'1" 250 lbs---and I was certain that I would not be able to ride the Forbidden Journey...there is a test seat just outside the entrance to the ride (to the right of the castle gates) where you can get some idea of what the seat is like...there is a green and red light to the side of the seat which will let you know if you can get on. However, I was only able to get the red light on the outside test seat but I ask if I could try the test seats inside the castle. These seats actually secure with the three clicks. I was able to get two clicks and the attendant asked me if he could push down on the restraint to get the third click...I said yes...and with a gentle push I got the third click!!! I was really comfortable and wasn't feeling crushed or anything. While it is a good idea to check the outside test seat, the seat inside the castle itself gives you a clear idea of whether or not u will be able to get on. Hope this helps!!! Have a great trip!!!!

I ill be going with the family next week and just started reading up on the size limitations. I am 6'5" and around 265. Not fat, just Texas-sized. I see that I am right on the limit on the weight but having heard that Dwight Howard was ok on the height I think I should be fine. A long as I do not visit Giordanno's before I get on the ride do you guys think that I will be able to fit. Trust me, I am used to fitting in "normal sized spaces(cars, airplanes and sporting events)so a temporary squeeze should be fine.Has anyone close to my dimensions cleared? Thanks for the info.

The 6"5 might be a bigger problem than the 265

Honestly, everyone putting sizes and stuff well help to some degree but the only real way to know is to go and try the test seat. After, reading tons of threads some people fit and then some people weigh less than those people and they don't. I think it pretty much depends on where you carry your weight and all that. Hopefully, your boys will be able to fit. :) Good luck.

P.S. - I know there was talk about them getting larger seats before December has that info been verified by the park? Does anyone have any info on it?
