Are there any other 'big girls' (I'm 24) out there who would LOVE the idea of being transformed into our favourite princess? I was just looking at another poster's pictures from her daughter's trip to the BBB, and let me tell you, I am jealous!!! princess: I think we should start a letter-writing campaign! Enough age discrimination! Princesses unite! ;)

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:
I thought about this too! I was considering a mother/daughter day for myself (29) and DD (4).

I thought that adults could do it also? I am sure I saw at least one Mother/Daughter made up while we were in the parks. And I thought that when we were at WoD store I was told that adults were welcome? I am pretty sure they said that was for ages 3 and UP--and the gal at the door said there was no limit on the UP part!

There is no age limit, but there are no princess dresses to fit the older gals. I mean, I'm 20 (almost 21!) and I do fit in the largest size princess dress, but I'm just absurdly small. I wish they made princess dresses to fit bigger princesses.

My DD13 had a makeover done on our trip back in Aug. I noticed some adults, as well as girls AND BOYS, having their hair done. (The boys' ages seem to range from 5 -12). Seems like everyone is enjoying this pampering!

I'd say go for it!

Whoa whoa whoa.... I CAN go to the BBB??? Oh happy day!!! :Pinkbounc

Wednesday we saw a little girl and her mom coming out of BBB. The little girl was done up like Cinderella and the mom's hair and makeup had been done and she had on a pink sash (like a pageant sash). I don't remember what it said.

There was a picture of a Diser in another thread about BBB, and she was a grown up kid. I would not have wanted anything of the sort when I was younger (big tomboy) but now I have a secret desire to have the Princess updo, but don't tell anyone.

I may have been big kid someone saw in another post. Yes us big princesses can do the hair/makeup/nails thing and they do truly treat us as princesses. I'm going again Dec. 1 with a girlfriend and DH is our official photographer plus the photopass pics.

Hah my mom posted here! I was going to say, definately go for it. :thumbsup2 I was turned into a princess last summer, and I loved every moment of it. princess:

Anyone know if it is additional cost for adults? I assume it is the same, but sometimes in a regular salon, it is cheaper for small kids.

:rotfl: DD, 17 couldn't agree more! In fact she recently bought a child size Snow White dress at the Disney Store. It's tight and only comes down to her knees, but it fits, just. I think Disney is missing the boat of this one. I'm sure there are lots of teenage (and older) girls out there who would love to be able to dress up like their favorite princess.

disney has a policy that they will not let you in the park as an adult if you are dressed like a character. They don't want you getting confused with a real cast member.

Oh, we understand that completely and DD wouldn't wear a costume to the parks anyway, though no one would ever mistake her for the "real" Snow White. For DD, and I'm sure others as well, it's not that, more for Halloween, parties, and just for fun.

How long do you allow if you're just doing hair and makeup? (including suggested waiting time.)

Absolutely! I'm going next May and I'm going for either the Diva Princess or Pop Princess makeover!

Just call me a 5-year old girl trapped in the body of a 34-year old woman! :wizard:

I'm 31 and I would love to be Belle. She is my all-time favorite princess. When I saw her in France, I squealed like a little girl and waited in line with all the other little kids that only came up to my waist. If I could dress up like her, I would choose her normal blue dress instead of the yellow gown. I don't know why. :confused3 But it would be so cool!
