Somehow I am not comfortable renting points or houses or whatever when I have to make an advance deposit and I cannot use a credit card. As someone pointed out above, the accommodations sometimes have problems.

Renting the DVC points would be fine if I dealt with a DVC office rather than the owner of the points. Or inspected the room first.

Two adjoinging rooms makes sense. It is difficult to get to bed early enough for next morning's EMH and difficult to get going that next morning with just one bathroom for seven people.

We have five kids too, and we always try to stay at Pop century with connecting rooms---i like having 2 bathrooms to shove the kids into to get ready-----we get 1 annual pass and usually luck into a passholder rate which can be applied to both rooms----there are ways to stay on site if you really work at it.....

Watch the souvenirs, that is what can easily ruin your budget(When you are there everything with a mouse on it looks like something you need )

That's what I'm afraid of. I need to come up with a budget and stick to it. My children are currently 'earning' Disney Dollars through chores etc. I'm just not quite sure what to budget for each person for souvenirs just yet.
