Big deal to add another family member to our room??

We have ressies for the Poly on Oct. 25-28. Our oldest daughter has just found she can take her chemistry exam early and join us!! That would make 5 in our room. Is it a hassle to add someone to an existing ressie??

It might be a hassle if the room only fits 4, they might have to get you a room that will hold 5. You would be wise to call rather than wait till check in.

If you have a package with dining you may have to call ahead of time to add her too and pay the difference. Although I have had success in just showing up with the extra person and adding everything there. Now if your daughter is 18 or over, you will have to pay the additional adult charge of $25/nt. Most if not all Poly rooms hold 5 with a daybed.

Yes, you have to make sure your room is able to have five occupants. Usually in a standard room, it's four adults/children and one child in a pack and play/crib as a maximum. That is for fire code regulations. Also, since your daughter is probably over the age of 17, you will have to pay $25/night for the additional adult in the room (if you can have five in the room).

All Poly rooms hold five people, the only thing is if you're going to be on the dining plan or the park hoppers with the room you need to call ahead of time so she can take advantage of all that fun stuff. Just give a call and throw her name on the room it doesn't make a difference and as long as she's under 18 there is no extra charge anyway. Have fun!

Yep all Poly rooms hold 5 -- if you have a room only reservation I would wait and do it at check in as they sometimes (usually in my case) end up not adding the 5th person charge (if she is over 18).

Thanks everyone!! She is only 17 and we have a "room only" reservation so it sounds like we will be okay.
