Big changes to magic Kingdom ???

I love wishes and will miss it , it just says Disney to me but appreciate those who visit very frequently would probably like a change....still don't think you should get it though

Does anyone know what happens after the summer period? Does Wishes come back?

I am really, really sad . Wishes is actually one of my favourite things in the world and although I loved the fireworks at the P&P Party, they lacked the sentimental magic of Wishes IMHO, and having not seen Wishes that year, I felt that I had missed out. I always hoped that one day I would be taking my own children to see Wishes and I know there will be another Wishes type show to replace it, but I can't lie I am disappointed and just hope that whatever replaces it is even more magical. When that little girls voice sings "Starlight, starbright, first star I see tonight," I get all choked up - I could cry now !

Looks like when I go in May, we will have to make the most of it! Hope they will still bring it out again for special from time to time though .

i always cry at wishes too!! I LOVE it....we usually see it at least 5 or 6 times each visit.....
when i heard this news i was really upset.....wishes is one of our absolute must must musts when we visit...
when i told DD and DS they were also really disappointed...
they're as sappy as me and are brought to tears by it...

Oh NOOOOOOOOOO I love Wishes! Wish they would get rid of Illuminations instead . . . has to be the dullest thing in the whole of Disney (thats obviously just my opinion!!)

i agree - i'd rather have a root canal than see illuminations....we all hate it...


as for the parade - i much prefer the mainstreet electrical parade to spectromagic....i'd be happy if they kept that one permanently....i'm not a spectromagic fan at all...

but i'm really really really really really really really sad wishes isn't going to be there when i'm there in june....

One of the cast members posting on the main board said that on the internal timetable - Wishes is shown as being scheduled up to the end of July. I hope so *** we booked Cali Grill for our WA - 31st July.

I go at the end of September and was really hoping to catch MSEP, Pete's Dragon is one of my favourite movies so the fact that there is an Elliot float in the parade is really special for me and I'd much rather watch that. But it doesn't look like that's going to happen now
