I'm not an D/D fan but will be watching tonight! I watched the entire season so why stop now? Doesn't make sense. Anyway, I'm excited to see all of the HG's again. I hope the AP reveal has a good reaction!

My reason for not watching is that they both grate on my nerves and I just do not care which one wins. I can find better ways to waste my time tonight. Makes perfect sense to me.

We'll be watching tonight too! I am a little apprehensive about it though because I know that the evicted HG's are going to ask D&D all kinds of stupid, emotion fueled questions to try and make them uncomfortable. I really hope Dick takes it all. And, I hope Nick is there and Danielle's Alladin BF as well. ;)

MTE!
:thumbsup2

I really feel they gave unfair advantage to D & D by not penalizing D for cheating with the coded letter from home. How could they not penalize him when he admitted to it?? :

I totally missed this, and I'm trying to read back but I can't find it. What coded letter??:confused3

The only thing that would make it better than Dani not winning, is Nick totally blowing her off because he has been watching and cannot stand her either after her behavior.:lmao: Now THAT would be worth sitting through the final show!:thumbsup2

OK, after watching that admission of the coded letter I still don't see how that gave him any advantage!:confused3 Did you hear the code? The initial was "J" and there were 4 people with that initial. How the heck would ED figure out which one he was referring to? I highly doubt CBS will do anything about that. I just think there are so many D&D haters that they will scrape up anything and everything to try and make themselves feel better that the people they hate are in the final 2.

Perhaps in the future CBS should not allow a letter from home. I'm sure in the past years a lot of people had set up a way to get coded messages in their letters. ED was just the only one to talk freely about it.

I can't wait for the finale tonight!!!

I agree with you. I don't think the "coded" letter was that big a deal. There is no way of knowing when Vincent wrote that letter. And everyone knows how quickly things change in that place. So, "J" could have been an enemy the week Vincent wrote the letter and an ally the next. Besides, Dick couldn't even remember how to decipher the code. It had been months earlier when he and Vincent made up the code. Dick may have deciphered wrong.

And it is entirely possible that other HG's received secret messages in their HOH letters. They just didn't tell anyone about it.

...I'll miss the stupid little fights that happened here every day. I'm easy to entertain...

:happytv:

What is it about BB that people have such strong emotions about it? I don't remember the Survivor or Amazing Race threads threatened to be closed. Or maybe they were and I just ignored it.

Anyway. It has been a fun thread and I'll see you all for BB9!:hippie:

I didn't watch this video clip - but the footage I saw that spoke of the coded letter was that Vincent put the first letter on each sentence of who Dick shouldn't trust and it was Eric... But, Dick knew the letter was old because they had just voted Eric out.

You must not have been around for the Amazing Race Family Edition thread:scared1:

Just so the we can continue the fighting for Airhead's entertainment I'd like to point out that if others got coded letters, it was only ED that dumb enough to the let the cat out of the bag. :rotfl:

You're right. I don't think I was. But, I have a pretty good idea what all the fighting was about(Weaver family). That was a tough season to watch.

Thanks for a fun and interesting summer gang!:wave2: Hope to see you all on the Survivor thread.:)

IMHO, the coded letter was cheating - whether it affected the outcome, was old, whatever!! I think he should have been penalized.

Everyone keeps saying, "It's just a game." Games have rules and if you cheat, you get a penalty. To me, it is that simplel!!

Maybe CBS isn't making a big deal about the coded letter because they know other houseguests had them too. Who knows what goes on behind the walls! I agree that ED was the only one stupid enough or just plane too much of a big mouth to keep it to himself! And I am D&D fans! He was laughing with Dani because he even thought his codes were flawed and stupid and couldn't really remember what exactly they were.

Keggy
Please watch the clip. What you wrote isn't it at all.

Here you go. D got a coded letter from his son and the producers knew about it. :sad2:

Another reason...it shows the Producers wanted D&D to win...they got their wish.

BTW, does anyone know what the BB rule book says about content in letters from home and what penalties there are for recieving outside info? How is a coded letter any different from the HG that were outside and got to see/read the banner plane?:confused3 They had outside info that helped them in the game. They were told not to look at it or read them but they did and tried to every time they heard a plane!LOL

I'm sorry this just makes me laugh!! Even if they wanted them to win, they don't get to nominate or vote anyone out. Be mad at all the house guests that let them stay week after week while they were winning comps and causing havoc in the house. I loved watching them but if I was in that house I would've been doing everything to get them out!
