BIG BROTHER 19! SPOILER THREAD! "SUMMER OF TEMPTATION"

Ever since the Aaryn season, each season people say "this is the most despicable group they've ever had". I have to believe CBS is casting these yahoos to get people talking about the show with the thought that any press is good press.

I was just going to say this.

I read elsewhere that CBS is now recruiting for BB, it used to be you applied for it. Soooooo that answers a lot of the questions that these recruits aren't fans but people looking for fame and glory. It changes everything.

I'm sorry but I hope your perception is wrong. I don't see him funny. He is only funny when he is scripted. I cannot admire anyone that can manipulate people, game or not. It's not a trait I find attractive and therefore I see his personality as immensely flawed. He gets the house to do his bullying for him. Another huge flaw in his personality if he thinks bullying is ok. I do not care ro see him ever again.

At this point I would rather see Paul win than anyone else left. Why? Because he has never faltered from his true personality. He has always told it like it is, told people how it should be done and led the house. It's not his fault if the bimbos following him don't have a mind of his own. The other houseguests have morphed into terrible people -- which they didn't start out as (for the most part). Whether you think he is funny or not, or like his personality or not, I think that Paul and Cody were the only people in this game who were true to themselves and didn't waver. It's for sure that nobody scripted Cody in the diary room. He said he'd rather sit there silent than be told what to say!

Yes, Jeff couldn't believe that Dumbledore in the Harry Potter books was gay. That a gay man should never be in charge of kids :sad2: Remember Jeff is CBS' golden boy so most have never heard him say this:

I take anything posted on TMZ with a skepticism. I remember Jeff saying something, but I hate to promote or read anything on TMZ. They are a despicable site and show .

I have to agree. As much as I hate Paul this year (I loved him last year), he is the only one playing (well besides Jess and Cody who did play but not very well). I do not like he got handed so many advantages and is using his star power to manipulate them, but like RedSox said you can't fault him that these people are so weak minded and follow him around like lost puppies. I think when this is over these people are going to hate Paul for feeling so taken advantage of, but again, they are grown adults, they are the ones that let this happen to them. How many times did Jess and Cody say Paul needs to go. Even Mark tried to get Jason to help him get Paul out to no avail. It's not so much that I want Paul to win, but that he is the only one I can handle winning since he did play, even if I don't agree with his tactics. Can you imagine Raven or Josh winning this, how much would that suck.

On other note, Xmas was telling Alex when they get out of the house they are considered public figures and can write stuff like make-up, hair extentions and clothes off that they wear to meet and greets. She says she knows this because she is a public figure. Is this true? I'm not an expert on tax law. If it is, how do I become a public figure lol.

I get that, but there is a video on that link I posted. Jeff clearly said that, it was not made up.

If they don't have a contract linking them to some sort of show or assignment, I don't see how they can be considered "public figures" and deduct personal accessories. At least I hope not!

RedSox and DisneyLover, I can understand your thoughts behind your thinking of Paul. I know there are others like me that can't stand him and don't want to see him win and then there are others who do. Different strokes for different folks.

I think some of you are overestimating the hate these people will feel outside of the house. Perhaps for 1 or 2 days and then it will be forgotten. I think you've typically got about 6-8 million people that watch Big Brother. Much fewer watch the live feeds. It's not the end all, be all.
I think you are right. I just spoke to a friend of mine that only watches the produced episodes and she LOVES Paul! Thinks he's funny, masterful (in a good way), etc. Not surprising because he gets a "good" edit.

I don't necessarily "want" him to win as much as I don't want any of the others to win who have done zero to get this far in the game except to bow to Paul. There has been no game play by anyone except Cody, Jess and Paul. Personality wise, I was rooting for Mark to stay in as I thought he was the sleeziest player at that point to win. Oh well, we'll let the producers control the results and then possibly loose a lot of viewers. For us, who have never missed a season, I pretty sure we won't be back. To us it was the worst season all around.

And this same friend also said "Don't you just love Christmas! She's sooo nice!" :confused3

Exactly. It's not so much that I want Paul to win, but he is the only one in there doing anything. I would be more upset with Raven, Josh or Alex winning. I wouldn't mind Kevin winning, but that's just because he seems like a nice guy, but the reality of him winning is slim to none. He has to win something and that just isn't going to happen unless every comp left is a game of chance. I have also watched from Season 1 and for the first time I am really considering not watching the next season. I think the only way I might come back is if it is an all-star season since it's the 20th, but even then I'd have to see who they scrape up to be in it.

Let me ask you all this: Who would you like to see win or maybe I should ask who is the one you will have the least issue winning lol. Let's leave Kevin out for the sake of the poll since the odds of him winning are slim to none. Yes, I know Kevin could win, but just want to see every one's reactions to the reality of who it really could be.

So out of Paul, Alex, Jason, Josh, Christmas and Raven who do you want to see win; and is this a person you really like and hope wins or just someone that you can deal with winning?

I gave my answer already which is Paul, purely because he is the only one in there playing. I do not like him, but trying to put my feelings on game play only, Paul should win.

Ok, say Kevin is out. And, I would have said Jason before recent events.

With the remaining choices, I'm gonna go with Paul, too. Reason is, he lasted this long and I liked him last season.

I just read on Jokers that Alex said (and I am going to put this VERY nicely vs what she actually said) that if Kevin wins America's Favorite Player she is going to kick him on stage, old man.
