I might have missed this, but how did they keep the parks cleared out for them? Was it before/after hours or something?

Also, how do you enter contests for one of the prizes under the current promotions?

They did this this morning before the park opened.

I was one of those CM's, it was very magical and my eyes were misty! The family had no idea, when they got half way down main street they were asked to turn towards the train station to take a photo... then the trumpeters played "When you wish upon a star" and then they said Welcome to your Magic Kingdom and played Be Our Guest (we, a few thousand of us were hiding in the stores) all came flooding out of the shops with the characters and cheered them on all the way down Main Street. It was very cool, I'll post photos later.

Thanks for sharing! It was one of the most magical Disney moments I've ever witnessed and it makes me cry every time I see it! You are so lucky to have been a part of it.

It was fun, wasn't it? What section were you in? I was in Section 1, and was standing next to Lilo. I had an absolute blast this morning.

How great that you and Joanna71985 got to experience the magic in person. It is so wonderful for me just to experience by picture and video. I can't even imagine how amazing it was to be there live. Oh, I am so thrilled for that family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's my question---your family wins a trip to WDW and you have the MK all to yourself-wouldn't you wear some type of Disney shirt???? Not one of them have even a Mickey shirt on.
I can't believe Disney didn't give them matching shirts to wear. If that would've been my family we would've had matching shirts on or at least Disney shirts on.

Oh well- I guess I'm just jealous!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that bawled. I'm very emotional right now and still feel teary-eyed after watching that. I guess I can place myself in that scenario, even if just on a mini scale. I feel so magical when I'm there and see the excitment and wonder on my kids faces.

We found our Disney Mania REmix CD and have been playing it all morning. IASW after all song came on and my DD5 freaked and I started to cry again dancing away with her this morning. It really is the small things and just a little bit of pixie dust that makes life good.

Hahaha... I was thinking that too! Of course, I went crazy making sure all 6 of us had a different Disney shirt for each day of our vacation last week. I'm a sucked in sucker.
