What is all this MeMom stuff about???? I just enjoy hanging around all of you good people and talking Disney, so you 'see' me at my best.
Here's the real life me, and I'm sure my kids would add more. I'll write small, so as not to take up so much space talking about my faults.
I'm just a fuddy-duddy plain Jane school teacher who does my share of griping (to myself and my kids, not in the teachers' lounge) about my job.
At home, I'm fairly boring.
I have a sink full of dishes I need to go wash, and my cupboards are almost bare. I've been trying to hold out going to the store until we eat some of this stuff down that's been sitting here a while.
I'm about thirty pounds overweight, and I can't get the motivation to do anything about it. I won't get out and walk by myself, so until I can find a walking partner with my same schedule, I'm going to be pleasingly plump.
I owe money for carpet and a new refrigerator, but luckily they're both still in the interest-free times, so I'm paying them off little by little.
I snore. Loudly. Ask my kids why they take earplugs to Disney World.
I lose things, and I get really aggravated about it when I do.
I'm claustrophobic, so if you're walking with me, you may have to take the steps and not the elevator.
I'm horrible at making left turns when there is no light.
I don't sleep very much, so I will yawn while you are talking to me, as if I am bored.
I'm computer illiterate, and Trent gets frustrated because he's shown me about cutting and pasting from one site to another several times, and I have forgotten.
I should be working a second job to be paying for Disney trips, but I keep making excuses.
I don't mop my floors every Saturday, and I hate dusting.
My dryer just went out, and I'm too cheap to buy a new one until I get the carpet paid off, so we're having to hang clothes right now.
I am a total fashion wreck, and don't spend a dime for clothes unless I am in dire need, and I wear just about no make-up, so you can imagine the beauty involved here.
I lie, cheat, and steal.
No, wait, I don't do that!
I'm getting carried away.
Well, anyway, I'm really not all that much, and you'll find that out whenever we do meet in person someday.
And I do hope that eventually we will be able to meet all of you on one trip or another along the way.
Now, let's talk countdowns!
You have a short one going until your October trip, and we've made it to mid-September, so our Thanksgiving trip is slowly but surely getting here. Every time I hear anybody mention Thanksgiving, I get the thrill of knowing we're having our turkey dinner with Chef Mickey!
Okay, I've got to get going on that pile of dirty dishes. You guys have a good day!
