Biff's Enchanted Birthday Trip...Twas' the week before Christmas

I'm with Biff. I don't like rides that spin. I did until I had children . . . . then everything changed. I've been on EE 3 times. 2 times to many. Won't do that anymore. For those who dont' know, there is a HUGE difference between riding in the first couple of carts and the LAST cart, which is where I wound up. It was awful.

it was. I screamed my head and did not care.

VERY cool that you got the dino car to yourself. i can't believe biff will ride this and not some of the other stuff. i think this ride has WAY more dips in it than everest! i think it's just that you SEE the drop in everest and this ride is inside and so dark that you can't see how far down you're falling.

he is weird.
if he rode Everest I do not think he would have a problem.

scottny....I am all caught up on reading your reports and have to say I love your pictures they are almost the same ones we took but yours are 100x better.

The drink you had at Yak's looks yummy.
I can't imagine having the whole Dinosaur ride to yourselves I loved the ride so did my Dh but he said it was rough on his back(he has had major surgery on it)
He wouldn't ride primewhirl either.I 'm just happy he decided to ride something other than It's a Small World.

When I last left you we were leaving the dinosaurs. We started heading around the park to go and see the parade.

We got side tracked. We saw a sign for a character meet. I said let’s go and he said ok so we went.

We enter

Then it is off to see Pooh and friends. Now yes we saw them at CP but this is Christmas Pooh.
As we are walking down the path we see Pooh going away. but 2 minutes later look who is back

The Eeyore came out.

Now while in line Tigger left and he soon came back.

He was so great, playing with a kid behind us and then he came over and posed and played with me.

Now come the photopass pics. Some are same pics but different borders. Now it is our turn.
Pooh was so sweet.

Eeyore is wonderful but you know, Eeyore. :rotf:

When we got to Tigger he started bouncing around when he saw us. I think he was happy for just 2 adults. Although one lady on line did comment, I let it go.

This was the best meet I have ever had. The characters were so great. I love the pic of me hugging Pooh, wish my stomach looked smaller.

Next we started walking. We went down some of the paths.

This one was in a mood. Kept going around and biting the other ones.

This one wanted to leave.

I loved this sign.

Biff actually walked through here. I was shocked.

Now we really headed over to get a seat for the parade.

Des: Fried Wontons: Skewers of fresh pineapple and cream cheese wontons, vanilla ice cream, honey vanilla drizzle

This is exactly what I had when we ate there last September.

Love the WTP pics! So cute. And the Dino pic...you should have gotten it! That's awesome that you guys got to go alone. That was a "dream" we won in '07. (Or was it '08?) Anyway...they pulled us away....brought us to a special car...gave the kids each a little dino toy. It was just the three of us. We were family of the hour or something to that effect.

2) Invest in an editing software program. My thighs have never looked so good!

I do regret not getting it. I mentioned it last night and Biff said call them and order it. he thought it was part of the photopass pics.

you would think. I saw so many adults by themselves.

Biff stayed back a little but he was there.

We made our way towards Africa to get a seat. We found an empty bench and sat. We were about 30 minutes early so I got us something to drink. Then the bench next to us a family sat there and then a lady with a baby carriage sat next us.
Now we here the music coming our way, Biff is going to record it on the camera and I will take pics with my camera. This is where the New Yorker came out of me. As the characters are rounding the corner the family next us stands up and moves to the edge of the tape they put down.
Now I usually am easy going but they sat on that bench and sent many people away when the kids went off to play to keep the bench and then they abandon it and block my view.
I say “Excuse me could you please sit, I cannot see now and you have been saving the bench”.
They did with no problem but really why the hell would you do that. So I got my view back.

I loved this it was blowing snow.

With that the parade ended.

What a great parade it was. I really enjoyed it and I loved that it wasn’t to crowded. Now for those who are on “Enchanted” go on over the videos are up if you wish to see it.

Colorful parade pics, Scott. We have never seen that one. Now I can show my family and say see, here's the parade, so we won't have to see it when we go this spring.

(We're really not parade people) We take advantage of parade time to hop on the rides with long waits!!

I would like ot catch the normal parade but I am sure it is the same without christmas music and decorations.

no I grew up in jersey over the bridge. then Los Angeles for 2 years then back to here.

After the parade we decided to take a path right behind us and leave the park. I love these benches.

Loved walking under the waterfall

We finally got to the end and I found Biff waiting. What a great trail that was to walk through. So close to the tree.
Now the end of the parade is just finishing up here. We make our way through the crowd and head out.

When we got back we went to the gift shop.

Then I took pics of the sky and the lake. The reflections I loved.

Then we back to the room. Rested for a while before our dinner that night.

That is a neat trail to walk along beside the AK tree. There can be thousands of people all throughout the park, but the trail is a quiet uncrowded place.
