Biff's Enchanted Birthday Trip...Twas' the week before Christmas

I'm all caught up now. I was supposed to see the 8 something PM Candlelight Processional but missed it! :sad2: I meant to go back when that little American Girl actress did it a couple of days later but OMG it was slammed packed then. All I did was walk by it. Looked gorgeous. Too bad we didn't see one another in the park this day. You took a ton of great pics. I'm glad you posted the Contemprary Holiday stuff. I've never seen it in person or in pics! It looks good. I have to swing by that one next year. I started the PTR finally. Check it out if you have time.
it was nice ot see. I would love to see it with Neil Patrick Harris.
I will check it out.

I was a couple of days behind but all caught up now.

I love your Processional pics. Someday I will see it (I hope). Biff is right in that RR is not the place to go to have a cozy, quiet sit down meal. I really enjoyed it and the food but it is a party place.

Thanks for the photos of the new CS at the Contemporary. Looks interesting...
glad your caught up.
it was good. I will probably not see again but glad I did. Unless I can see it with Doogie.
yes it is. But the food was good.

All caught up again! Sorry Biff didn't enjoy CP. I think it's a beautiful & special event. I also love to watch the signer. It is amazing! It sounds like Biff didn't really enjoy his Disney vacation. :sad2:
I still hear about how I dragged him to it.
Oh he had a blast. I thoguht I was making that clear but I guess not. He was having a great time. But don't mess with his food otherwise he gets annoyed and he is so not religious and just really did not hearing the story they told. That doesn't mean he didn't have a vacation because he did. He still talks today of how muich fun he had. Also the live music thing, but I did that to annoy him.

We then decide to take a ride over to Fort Wilderness.

I will stop here

Up next…

Did we go to a resort or Epcot????

Oh wow! Thanks for all those Contemporary CS shots! We walked by the place last time but never did try it. Was going to all those different situations complicated?

Ahhhh...the Cali Grill. I am dying to eat there! I know we will be for our honeymoon someday! :)

I had no idea about that Pinocchio display, how cute! Great pics :thumbsup2

I have to agree with Biff about the tip thing at Pepper Market. But someone should tell him that the towels work great at getting the dew off chairs in the morning.

I like the picture you took from inside the square window looking at all the foliage.

And kudo's for catching the monorails arriving too. I never had the right setting on my camera and they were just a silver blur.

Hi Scott,

New to your TR. (Knew about it from your posts on Jordan's TR)

But your title . . . . . From what I've seen in the photos, Biff just doesn't look like he's, um, all that enchanted. Poor guy!

Love the pics and your little comments. Very funny. Like the remarks about Cali Grill and Biff leaving the restroom!!

Looking forward to more.

I'd like to see NPH too. Or even Kirk Cameron if he did it again. I loved both of their shows when I was a kid. The little girl right after Chita or whatever her name was is the little girl who played Kit in the American Girl movie. DD would have loved to have seen her. When I booked I had no idea who was who though.

I like all the transpotaion pics. I'm gonna grab the baby and show him the monorail shots!

Those are my two favorite from the last couple of updates.
What a pretty day it was!

the weather was great the entire time. the only time it lightly drizzled was when we went to chefs de france

hi,
Welcome to the report.
He was "Enchanted". Just illness was taking hold. Wait till the last day. :sad2:
Thanks.

Update soon!!!

I am waiting for Biff to do the reviews for the next restaurant. and then the remaining 3.

The answer is…

PC176003.jpg

I love the ride here.

PC176006.jpg

PC176008.jpg

PC176009.jpg

PC176011.jpg

So we get here.
PC176014.jpg

Here is how it got funny. We stood there along with a couple that was there before us. The boat was over by France or in the area. Others come up and start waiting. Now the chain is up.
The boat moves and goes towards Germany. We wait. Now it is a good 15 minutes I would say and we have reservations for lunch. Then it dawns on me what the sign on the chain says, big arrows that point to the other boat launch. The boat does not stop here. :rotf: we all felt so stupid.

We then walk over. We pass the French storyteller
PC176018.jpg

PC176020.jpg

We get to Tokyo Dining and check in. We are seated immediately. Nothing like eating 2 hours after breakfast.

These ladies were busy making Sushi.

**Reviews**
Me –
Mine was very good. It was so tasty and just really a great meal. I could not get used to the bowing. They constantly bow. It got annoying after awhile. I would go back.

Biff –
Enjoyed the experience. Pretty restaurant. Server very customer focused.

Miso soup - good
First order was a Bento Box - Steak Teriyaki, room temperature Sashimi & a clump of Tempura - not very good. When server came over to ask how our food was I told her I could not eat it. Meat was pretty bad she said that she would send over the manager. No confrontation just very well handled.
Next the Manager came over and I pointed out the above & she asked what I would like in its place
This time I ordered a Sashimi Bento Box - fantastic, the Sashimi was perfectly chilled, the Tempura was excellent.
Vanilla ice cream- not much can be said about Vanilla Ice Cream.

After lunch we decided to walk through the countries.

I did not see what she does.

Then we wandered upon

PC176031.jpg

This is where they do the storytelling of Kwanzaa
PC176032.jpg

We looked in the gift shop for America
PC176033.jpg

PC176034.jpg

PC176035.jpg

Then we went inside to hear the carolers.
PC176036.jpg

This was set up for the story of Hanukah
PC176037.jpg

We stayed and listened for a few minutes but then we left. There was a baby screaming and the mother sat there like she did not hear.

Time to stop

Up next….
We visit China

teppan edo/tokyo dining is such a pretty place! those servers were cracking me up with the bowing.

don't you just love the moms who ignore the baby screaming? i understand that babies/kids scream and/or cry, but i promise everyone that if i'm at disney world and at a show and my child starts doing this, i will be courteous and exit the show instead of making everyone else's experience crappy because of MY kid.

I can deal with babies crying but if its messing with a performance or anything like that then they need to take the kid out for a while. it happened to us the other night, we went to see Soul of Shoalin on Broadway and some woman had a small baby there- in pjs even and he cried and cried, so much so we thought it was part of the show at one point!:rotfl2:

I thought you could only do that if you ate at CG? :confused3
I just thought you were not allowed up there. :confused3

thank you for your kindness.

i can deal with them outside of a performance. even in a restaurant it does not bother me but during a show, take them out.

Did you like the show even with the screaming kid?

I thought I saw a lot of Christmas trees!? You have me beat! :lmao: Ooops sorry 'bout the crying baby. That was me. :lmao: Kidding :p

Sorry about the screaming kid. I'm a mom of three and fully aware that not everyone enjoys my babies cries!
Can't wait to hear where your walk takes you next.
