Biergarten?

We are going May 17 - 28th. What are the chances of getting into Biergarten for lunch WITHOUT ADR's? We aren't sure which day we are going to be at Epcot for the second time. We already have ADR's for Le Cellier early in the week. I wanted to try to be a little more flexible. But, if its risky, I would sacrifice flexibilty for the opportunity to eat there. We've never been and we'd like to try it.

Why not give it your best guess, and cancel the reservation if things don't work out?

We were there the week before Labor Day during free dining. We had an ADR, but the place was really pretty empty. It looked like dozens of seats available and very few tables with multiple parties (meaning parties of two and four had their tables to themselves). I think that even during times when dining venues are busy, you can almost always find a table at Biergarten. I would get there close to opening, 12 I think, just to be sure. But take your time. The entertainment, which starts around 1:30? is worth waiting for.

We've never been at that time of year, so I can't say for sure. I know that during the summer it seems to be hit or miss if there are walk-up opportunities.
