Tell me your opinions and/or experiences there. when we go again, my DDs will be almost 6 years olds and a 2.5 year old? recommend or are they two young?

Love the food, drink and atmosphere. Kids will love the show and will enjoy going down to the stage to dance and sing with the performers.

We love it too, its a must-do every trip. DD3 loves the band, DH loves the sausage, I love the berry compote. Its a win-win-win. :thumbsup2

Personally I don't think there's a 'too young' at Disney. (rare exception of Cali Grill, V&A, Narcoosees)

My family LOVED Biergarten when we went in 2009. My youngest son was 6 and loved the show and the food. My oldest son (11 at the time) said this was his favourite restaurant and meal of the entire trip. The show is great and the food is wonderful. It's buffet so you can find something no matter what your tastes. For our next trip in 2011 we were talking about meals and both kids wanted to make sure we were going back to Biergarten.

You won't be disappointed! Enjoy! :goodvibes

We took my daughter there when she was either 2 or 3 and she loved it! You will get sat family style, that was the only down side for us, but it wasn't bad. She loved the music and being able to go down and dance.

I agree with all of the above posters! I think your kids will really enjoy it. My kids have always loved it there - and they're teenagers!
The younger kids and toddlers seem to enjoy it the most though:thumbsup2
Have fun!!

We tried Biergarten this trip. My kids are somewhat picky, but each found plenty to eat. Family style aspect didn't bother us at all, each group just kind of kept to themselves. We'll most likely do it again next year.

Biergarten is one of our favs. I have eaten there four times and I have never had a bad meal there. The entertainment is a lot of fun as well and the service has been nothing but excellent.

The kids will LOVE the dance floor! Trust me on that one. We've been three times with groups of 15+ people with kids of all ages, and this is a place they can go down a move before and after the meal!

Our son is 4 and last week was his 5th trip to BG... never had a problem.
He enjoys the food or eats a lot of it anyway....

Our kids were 4, 2 and 18 months on our recent trip and they loved Biergarten! My husband and I loved it too and will definitely plan an ADR there on future trips! Be sure to plan your ADR around the band times. The kids loved the music and the dance floor and were very much entertained. The food was a hit with all of us as well and as a vegetarian I was even able to find plenty to eat. I say you should definitely do it!

My very busy boys were 4 and 2.9 when we ate there. They liked the food and loved the entertainment. They were "awestruck" when the show started and didn't make a peep:thumbsup2.

I am planning on going there again on our next trip:)

We went to Biergarten with an almost 5 year old and a young 3 year old and we had a BLAST. We got a table right on the dance floor, the kids danced to the band twice - we were there so long, they came out a second time. DH and I loved the beer. Food was good and obviously plentiful. I don't eat pork and found tons to eat. Definitely try the potato leek soup - it's really delish. I made a reservation for Biergarten for our next trip in March. I originally made it for my second Epcot day but DH made me change it to the first Epcot day, as he didn't want to wait the whole trip to eat there again!

 the Biergarten! No problems with sharing a table with strangers, I was a little apprehensive at first but it was fine. Terrific food, especially the potato leek soup with pretzel rolls and the cheesecake.

Biergarten is a family favorite and has been since I was child (many moons ago). Go and enjoy, the kids will have a fun time there!!!

We're booked for dinner there with my three year-old son. IMO, it is one of those only-at-Disney kind of places and I think he'll love the buffet (no wait for food), as well as the long tables and the entertainment. Plus, it isn't exactly quiet in there, which helps when you're dining with the toddler set. :thumbsup2

My kids were 6 and 3 (the baby stayed with grandma) during our last trip and they both enjoyed it...especially the music. I'm not going to lie, we had a few total misses when it came to the food but I got them little tastes of everything to start and went back for more of the things that they liked. But I think it's a great choice for a family with younger kids.

I have only 2 ADR's for my 5 day trip in January. One is at Boma and one is at Biergarten. The food is good and the show is fun. I really like the communal atmosphere. You will be sat with other people as they fill the tables but that is a plus as far as I'm concerned. I've met a lot of different people eating at Biergarten over the years.
