Biergarten ?

We LOVE the Biergarten! Tons of delicious meats, fresh pretzels, and fantastic beer. The kids enjoy munching on mac and cheese and the adults gulp down some Spaten. We typically have a big breakfast outside the park, a late lunch (more like a stuffing) around 3-3:30 and dinner back at the hotel.

I think you have to kind of like German food, but with that in mind the salads are great - last time I had a full plate of cold salad stuff before moving on to the cooked meat. There's plenty if you don't just want meat. Biergarten is definitely a must-do for us each trip

Biergarten is a must do for me too! Love all of the salads...particularly a cold salad with sliced sausage (bottom left of photo.) Yum! Also really like the salmon with the dill and of course the traditional warm German potato salad. Mmmmmm

In October I had a liter of Hefeweizen--my favorite German beer. I had to hold it with two hands! It was Oktoberfest!!

Have always had a good time with our tablemates except for one year...they just didn't talk at all...not even to each other!
