Biergarten Yay or Nay?

Haven't read all the responses, but Biergarten gets a MAJOR thumbs up from us!

We've done it 3 times and the food is wonderful and I am embarassed to say we stuffed ourselve silly. We aren't beer drinkers but they make awesome iced tea.

We met lovely families at our table, so that wasn't as bad as I had thought either.

This is one of the best buffets in WDW, IMHO. Our family has been very happy there.

Do they sit families with children with families with children? My children are usually well behaved in restaurants but one never knows after a busy morning in Epcot. I wouldn't want to eat here and ruin someone elses meal with a whinny toddler.

A definite yay! And I am a partial vegetarian (I eat poultry and seafood) and a very picky eater. There is still plenty to eat there, and very yummy!

So, don't be afraid of sitting with strangers--we go every trip and I've only had one uncomfortable meal and our server apologized to me for our boorish table mates. It was a family who were not aware of the group seating (although they tell everyone at the podium) and the mother was just downright rude to us for sitting at "her" table.

I certainly hope that woman was eating at Teppan Edo the following night.

I haven't eaten at Biergarten for years because I've never been a big fan of the food. It was always "just ok" with me. The raves I'm seeing now might make me change my mind and give it another chance.

Biergarten is my family's favorite restaurant. Fairly priced, food is excellent, dessert is wonderful (especially the apple strewdel).

I've never had a problem sitting with strangers and we've done it about 6 or 7times. We usually just say a quick hi to each other when we sit and that's really it. They talk to their family, we talk to ours. No biggy!

I am torn between the Biergarten or Tutto Italia. They both sound great.
