Biergarten Soup Recipe ~Potato Leek

My DS5 had 3 bowls of this soup at Beirgarten. It was delicious and now we want to make it. I thought it was Potato Leek, but it may have only been Leeks. I searched recipes on allears but only found Potato Leek soup recipe at Rose & Crown. This is the recipe i found but if anyone has any other info please let me know. This sounds good too (heavy cream no wonder it tasted so good)

Rose & Crown Potato Leek
3 pounds Idaho potatoes
3 cups onion, diced
3 cups leeks, diced
1 TB butter
1 quart heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste

Ok then I am guessing they may be different soups. So hopefully someone might have the recipe or maybe someone going to Beirgarten and can bring it back to us : )

yum!! I LOVED that soup. Way better than Rose & Crown. I thought it was too heavy on the cream at R&C...so maybe I will reduce the cream by half and add milk.

Me too on that. I am guessing the qt of heavy cream makes up for it.
