Biergarten Restaurant during October

DH and I have eaten at the Biergarten Restaurant before are really enjoyed it. We will be back in October (for F&W) and wondered is they do anything special/different than usual for OKTOBERFEST?

I don't know about October, but we recently ate there and had a 5:30PM PS. We enjoyed the food once again, but the show was quite short. Our previous trip, we ate a late lunch at about 3:30PM and there was an extended show.

They used to have a whole Octoberfest section set up..last year it was not there. So I guess, there is no telling until October.

DH always loved the Becks Oktoberfest beer that they would get around that time of year. When we were there this last Feb we noticed that they have changed to Lowenbrau, but they might still get something in the way of an Oktoberfest beer, so you can look out for that.

last year in October they had the Lowenbrau octoberfest beer as well but nothing else was different.

Well I do know that the Munich Oktoberfest (where it all began 172 years ago) is celebrated Sept 17 - Oct 3. It has something to do with the Prince 172 years ago getting married. Here near Chicago several places celebrate it, and its always in mid to late Sept!!

I believe Germany had extended octoberfest entertainment last year. And I also think they had a german food booth outside. Nothing different inside Biergarten, however.

You will LOVE F&W, with or without the additional Octoberfest festivities. F&W is Epcot to the nth degree.
