On the menu listed at allears it states that beverages :drinking1 are extra. Does that mean soft drinks AND beer/alcohol or just the beer/alcohol?? Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks!!
Kimba

I read that beverages were sold separately so I'd assume that includes alcoholic beverages as well

I really don't care about the alcohol. We don't drink. I was thinking more about kids drinks.

They have Coke products as most all places on property do at WDW. I know this because my daughter and I love to eat there and she orders a drink called a Spritz(I think thats how you spell it, at least thats how it sounds) that consists of Coke and Orange drink mixed as one. I believe they have unsweetened tea also.

I have never paid attention when we eat there, but I'm assuming that since the menu states "beverages are extra" that would mean ALL beverages. Too bad they don't list prices...

This is from an October 2005 Biergarten dinner with friends. There were four adults and one child. On my receipt: 4 dinner entrees, 1 KM dinner 9 under, and 5 cokes. I know I had iced tea (which was excellent by the way) and I can't remember what the others had. I'm assuming and remembering mostly all soft drinks. What I can't figure out is that the cost of the "5 cokes" is $10.95 which would make them $2.19 each. :confused3 So there must have been something else in that mix of beverages. I'm thinking that most places charge $2.00 for a beverage.

So what do I know for sure - I paid extra for an iced tea. :)

Actually, $2.19 is a common price for soft drinks at some of the moderately priced restaurants. I always thought it was strange that they were less expensive at some of the more expensive restaurants. ($2.09 is a common price for soft drinks at some, but not all, CS restaurants.)

Ok. I'll just figure about $2.50 for soft drinks. That way I'll be covered. I'm planning on bringing cash for each day so I kind of need an "total" for the day.
It's a shame it's so expensive because I know my kids will probably only drink half or less of it! My DS won't share with his sisters :confused3  so I have to get them their own. I could force the issue but it's Disney and I'd rather stay sane
Thanks All!!!

Yeah, just figure everything at Disney is more expensive than it needs to be... :)

I really don't think the food at Disney is priced any higher than at other amusement/theme parks, zoos, museums, ballparks, etc.

In fact, I hear they are charging $8 for a beer at the baseball parks now ... hey, from that perspective, Disney is cheap!!
