Biergarten PICS??

Does anyone have any pics of Biergarten. I made an ADR from myself, DW, DD(2) and my parents. I thought my daughter might enjoy it because of the band, and it may buy us some time so that we adults can eat a meal that lasts longer than 5 minutes.

Anyway, I showed DW pics from a few websites such as laughinplace and allears. She was afraid that it looked too dark and dingy.

Anyone have any recent pics or experiences with a young child. Thanks

It is quite dark inside, so it's hard to get good pictures in there. I didn't even try. The atmosphere is of a nighttime Oktoberfest celebration, and is very pleasant. It's along the lines of the San Angel Inn--gives the impression of eating outdoors at night. The band doesn't play the entire time.

I have a few pictures on my laptop at home from our trip last February. I'll try to post them later for you.

It's dark but not dingy. It's like eating outside at a Biergarten in Germany--it's evening all the time there. And I used to live down the street from a real biergarten in Germany and I can tell you that it's pretty well done.

This is one of my 15 yo dd's favorite places to eat. It's a lot of fun and we enjoy the food.

Here you go, this is from last May:

In the second pic my dd's (8 and 9 at the time) are the ones dancing in the right corner of the pic. They burned off some energy and allowed us older four to relax for a while. It is a little dark, but we LOVE it ... going back in five weeks!!

It's dark because the setting is night outdoors. It is great fun! We have taken our little ones there. They love singing with the band and raising their glasses in the air! I thought it was a great time, and I was really skeptical going in! I have some pictures but have no clue how to post them! Sorry!

I think it's definitely worth a try!

Okay--finally got a chance to get to some of the pics I took there. It's very difficult to take pictures inside because it is supposed to be nighttime in there.

We have just a couple from March 2005. I had to enhance the contrast on these a good bit to make them visible. They were taken with a 5 yr old point and shoot digital. This year we will have a much better quality dSLR, so I hope to get better photos.

I love the inside of the Biergarten - it's beautiful. Great food, great fun.
