Biergarten or R&C?

Hello,
We are on the myw plan and need a dinner at Epcot. We've been to R&C each time we've been to WDW so we're thinking about another choice. The only places on the myw plan are R&C, Biergarten, and Norway. Since Norway is a princess meal and it's likely booked, and I'm not sure it's the best choice for our group anyway, that leaves Biergarten and R&C. I've never really heard much good about Biergarten. Does anyone like this place? Why or why not? We are 4 adults, 2 kids-8, 1 baby-2.

This is always on our "do not miss" list. We enjoy the food and music. R & C has a good view of Illuminations but for atmosphere and food we really enjoy the Biergarden.

music is a german oompa band. so much fun. our kids (2 and 4) loved it! while the band takes breaks, they have recorded music. all the kids in the place got on the dance floor and went nuts. ahhh. how relaxing to drink a litre of beer while my kids were close enough to keep an eye on, but not close enough to ask me to butter their bread a thousand times. honestly, i don't even remember the food. after watching my kids have such a good time and drinking 1 1/2 litres of beer, it was the best meal i had ever eaten.

We usally do R&C too but we are going to give Germany a whirl this time. I would have recommended Norway but they have changed it recently. I just love the atmosphere and the service and the food but I think things will never be the same! Adding Princesses ruins the calm ambiance. I am disappointed by that!

We love the Biergarten and it is one of the few restaurants we make sure to go to on a trip. Last month we brought friends of ours there and they were very skeptical, but ended up loving it.

True, we haven't been since 1991 but we love both places. I would choose the Biergarten over R&C for dinner though. My DH and I have been talking it up forever to our DD's! They can't wait to go do the Chicken Dance!

Biergarten. We haven't eaten there yet but plan on it this October! We can't wait.
