Just about through making my lunch/dinner reservations. However on my epcot day I can't decide whether to eat at LeCellier or Biergarten for lunch. I already have a LeCellier ressie but wonder if I should change it for Biergarten. Help me decide. Comments and suggestions always welcome.

Love Le Cellier. I think depending on what your order, it does live up to the hype. The servers are generally friendly, but it is not a "fun" meal per se.

The food is easily worth it if you're on the dining plan...if not, I'd think twice just b/c of the cost (its a pricey lunch). Happy eating!

Both are great places to eat, but I give the nod to Le Cellier. The filet is fantastic.

Like I say to so many others...it all depends!! :goodvibes Who are you eating with? What are their ages? If they are adults and likely in need of a break during the midday (cool A/C and a cocktail); I'd stick with Le Cellier. If your traveling with kids, the Biergarten may be better. They offer a choice of kid friendly food, plus the opportunity to do the "Chicken Dance". Which, BTW, is suprisingly not offered at Le Cellier!! :rotfl2:

Do you prefer apples or oranges?:lmao::lmao::lmao:

One is an a la carte steak house (albeit a very good steak house so the 1 TS credit lunch is a great value IMHO)

The other is a buffet with Americanized German food that you can tailor to your own preferences (great for those picky eaters).

So its really up to what YOU and your family prefer.

It depends on what type of food you like on whether you want a buffet or not. I prefer Le Cellier because I like the food better than Biergarten. :)

While its not offered, feel free to burst out in spontaneous chicken dancing if the urge strikes. :lmao:

Thanks for the advice everyone. Will keep my LeCellier reservation and just go to Biergarten on my next Disney trip. Just have my fingers crossed that the filet will be good.

Le Cellier is such a treat! If we can get a reservation, we go every trip! One year we went twice in one trip.

But wouldn't it be the beaver dance? (OK not a beaver but at least it starts with a "B".)

But I did find this.

Need to compare apples to apples.

LeCellier is more upscale more adult. Biergarten is more of a festive setting.

I love both but I guess for a lunch Biergarten

I'm planning on doing both of these for the first time on my next trip! Glad to hear positive things about both :)

Ummmmmmm... food ! But for lunch I'd do Le Cellier... and then do "German" for dinner !

Well it depends...If you've eaten at both, I would go with Le Cellier. If you've only eaten at one of them before, I'd chose the other one to try something new. If you haven't eaten at either of them, I would go with Le Cellier.

I've eaten at both for lunch and prefer Biergarten. I like the fun atmosphere and variety of foods to try. I also think it's a better restaurant for kids. However, if you're wanting something more low-key, I'd probably go with LeCellier.

I guess im in the minority that thinks Le Cellier stinks!! Ok maybe i wouldnt go that far....but it is over-rated! I would pick Biergarten over Le Cellier any day!!
