Biergarten or Kouzzina?

On the day we are going to Epcot (Friday 5/27), the park is open 9am-12am. It will be our last day at Disney. At first I wanted to do Epcot on day one (5/22), but since our flight comes in so late (11pm on 5/21) I knew we would have a late start that first day, so I picked Animal Kingdom. Epcot will be packed on 5/27 (it's Friday of Memorial Day Weekend, plus Epcot has the Early Magic Hours that day).

Should we have dinner at Biergarten or Kouzzina? I have an ADR right now for Biergarten for I think 8:50 pm.

My SO really likes German food. I do not like buffets, especially when they are $35 per person (I don't eat very much). I also don't like the idea of sitting at the same table as strangers.

We both like Greek food, and we're staying at the Dolphin which isn't too far from Kouzzina (at the Boardwalk) and Epcot.

What do you think? Which has better food, Biergarten or Kouzzina? Is Biergarten worth it?

i didnt think biergerten was worth it for the food...but i thought the entertainment to go along with it was really good

Kouzzina is awesome. Ate here last month and we loved it. The Greek lasagne is to die for, wish I could have some right now!!!

Kouzzina is good, but beware if you have food allergies. Mine were noted, discussed with the waiter who discussed with the chef, and still my food came to my table with items i could not safely eat.

We've dined at both and would definitely choose Kouzzina. We didn't mind eating at the same table with strangers at Biergarten, we met some really interesting people, but the food is much better at Kouzzina.

Exactly what I wanted to hear, thanks everyone :)

ETA: how long would it take to walk from Epcot to Kouzzina? If it were between Kouzzina & the Marrakesh restaurant, which one would you pick?

My concern would be the time you spend leaving Epcot, walking to Kouzzina, and then returning (at least an hour in travel time). Of course, you can't do it all and maybe that will spark your interest for a return trip. Given how busy Epcot is that day, I'd be planning on getting there at rope drop -- even from the International Gateway -- Epcot is our favorite park. I looked it up and it's Evening Magic hours.

To tell the truth, we ate at Kouzzina once and loved the appetizer for 2, but were disappointed in the chops with mixed greens. And they were out of Cat Cora's special wines! I love the buffet at Biergarten. I will give Kouzzina another chance.

30 minutes to walk from Epcot to BW? I've heard it's about 5 min.

I know it's EMH, but the only other possible day for Epcot is our first park day. Because our plane gets in really late and because we're on MST, we realistically wouldn't make it to Epcot on that first day until 11am-12pm or so, and then Epcot is open until 9pm. We are not rope drop people...should we switch Epcot days?

We did Biergarten on our last trip, it was the one resturant I really wasn't looking forward to for the reasons you mentioned and I didn't think I was really into German food. It was one of our favorite meals of the trip and will be a must for future trips. It is really cool inside, fun entertainment and the food was really good, sitting with strangers wasn't that big of a deal.

I would think the walk from IG gate to BW would be about 10 minutes.

We have eaten at both. Love Biergarten. Kouzzina's food was good, but the service was horrible. We waited over an hour after our ADR time to get a table, and then it was another 90 minutes before we got our dinners! I am not exaggerating!
