There is no such thing as a "kids buffet" or even an "adult buffet" at Disney. They have buffets with one section lower to the floor which has on it items that kids tend to enjoy (such as pizza, hot dogs, chicken strips, mac & cheese, etc.). Any person at the buffet (including children less than age three who are free) can get anything from any part of the buffet.
I agree completely! However, Biergarten does not offer a separate section with typical kid's food like the other WDW buffets do. The food is all on one buffet. For those of us with picky eaters, Biergarten is not the place to go. They do offer roasted chicken, frankfurters, and mac & cheese - just on the main buffet.
It's been my experience that kids love Biergarten more than most buffets on property! The food is kind of bland-- not too exotic. It shouldn't make a difference that there's no separate kiddie buffet as long as the "regular" food is still kid-friendly.
They usually offer chicken nuggets, pizza, corn etc... on the kid's buffet at the other WDW restaurants. Items my son will eat.
I said for a PICKY eater, Biergarten is not the best place. Most kids will eat anything off a typical buffet.
Picky as in ONLY eating three things is extreme.
My dd definitely falls into extreme. She lives on fruit, french fries, and donuts while at WDW.![]()
If you have kids that will eat only chicken nuggets, pizza, hamburgers, french fries or peanut butter and jelly, then you should be aware that Biergarten has none of these things available.
Of the typical "kid" foods served at WDW, they have only macaroni and cheese. They have frankfurters but these are not American style hot dogs. Some kids are good with roast chicken or pork, potatoes and noodles (spaetzle), and others may be even more adventurous. But if the buck stops at chicken nuggets and pizza, you won't find them there.
