Ok, trying to make dining plans. Is the Biergarten any good? Haven't found too much on it when I searched the forum. Thanks!

I think its a fun place, and pretty good food. I was suprised my kids love it, and ask to go back each trip. I was worried they wouldnt like it.

We've done this twice and really enjoy it. DH is extremely picky, but there are so many options on the buffet, it's no problem. They have excellent rotisserie chicken, fried chicken (can't remember the German name), breads, salads, potatoes, sausages, saurkraut, desserts, and more. It's really very good.

GREAT!!!! GREAT!!!! GREAT!!!!

Great food, atmosphere and entertainment!! We highly recommend Biergarten!!

My family thought it was great! It was a lot of fun. My kids and husband want to go back when we go in December. I am not sure I liked it enough to go back again but it was good.

Dh really enjoyed it and got up on stage with the music. DS9 surprised us by thinking it was pretty good...I don't think he ate a huge amt but there was enough that he found to eat. It was just ok in my book but I'd go again.

Thanks for so quick responses! I am now hooked on the Biergarten now :cool1: My FDH will love it, he served in Germany during his stint in the Army! Thanks soooo much!

I love Biergarten!
It was the first place we ate at in any of the parks. It was the first place we ever had a true Magic Moment!
My younger DS is autistic and he just adored the place! It was incredible. FOr a few hours it was like he was a neuro-typical child. He interacted with people, sang and danced and did Ring around the Rosie, he even joined in when the kids paraded around the restaraunt!
I told the manager there about how he was reacting. WHen she found out our camera was on the fritz she GAVE us a disposable camera! We took so many pictures. She even let us take Vinny to meet the Polka band. We wrote them a letter and gave them some of the pictures of Vinny there. The CMs there were all so nice and wonderful! The food was really good I thought. I loved the salmon and the pretzel bread. Of course I liked the sausages and brats but then I like German food! The kids had fun w/ the chicken and mac-n-cheese. And the desserts were pretty decent. Of course, the BIER! So, Ein Bier!

love it! - Of course, it could be the german in me that enjoys it just as much!

Good food...good show...lots of fun. Just be prepared to share a table with others unless your party is large enough to secure one table.

We all loved the Biergarten!! I was worried the kids wouldn't like it and when we started planning our Aug trip they asked to go back!!!

I thought the atmosphere was really fun, enjoyed that part of the restaurant very much, but I didn't like the food at all. My DH loved it and has already started begging me for a return visit when we're there in September. I think I only found one thing to eat so when I left I was as hungry as when I got there.

I was just reading a post about the different things on the menu such as chicken. I don't remember those items when we were there but it has been quite a while since we ate there. Probably 8 years ago. Reading some of the other choices makes me think that I might give in to DH and try this place out again.

We went in April & thought the Lunch Buffet was great. The entertainment was fun & the food really good. Thought it was a good deal at $16, too!

We were there last weekend and loved it...good food, great atmosphere and a good show...very festive and fun!

This was definitely one of our favorite's last trip. I was a little worried, but gave in because DH loves everything German. I loved everything I tried from the buffet, especially the spaetzle. Their kind of dumpling noodles, soooo good.

We had so much fun 2 weeks ago there with our daughters ages 2 and 1. They loved it. They loved the music. My 1 year old was out on the dance floor dancing. The food was good. Not spectacular but good enough. It was the best night that we had during our vacation. I will defnitely go back.

We NEVER thought we'd like a place like this(hated the horribly hokey hoop-de-doo) but we thought this was a very fun place with good food and enough variety to make everyone happy. Our kids loved the entertainment and the CMs here were just excellent. Give it a try.

Another thumbs up! In fact, we'll be there on Tuesday because DD chose it for her 19th birthday dinner; high praise from a teen (the spaetzle is her favorite). We all enjoy it, and there's even enough variety for DS, 8. Now I'm getting hungry thinking about it!

:cool1: :cake: :cool1:

It's been 9 years but I loved it. My Dad loves it too. My wife hates it, but she can't eat beef (and most things there have beef in them, probably even the potato salad!). I would recommend you not drink beer there. The beers are large and they waste valuable space in your stomach that should be used for cramming in food.
