Biergarten for Picky Eating Child

My daughter (5) is a very picky eater and I am wondering if the Biergarten has andthing she might eat. Though German food isn't my favorite, I think we'd both enjoy the entertainment, but she generally eats only pasta, rice, chicken nuggets, burgers, hot dogs, and PB. I know they have brauts, but what about a plain hot dog? Any help would be appreciated!

Wow, sounds like my daughter's twin (she's 7). We went to the Biergarten last year and my daughter loved it. They've got a wide variety and I believe she ate some chicken and some potato salad. There's a lot of food so I'm sure there's something she'll eat. My DD especially loved the band and went down to dance. Did I mention she's not shy? I think you'll be fine but you might be able to ask for something off the menu too (like the nuggets). Most Disney restaurants have them - not sure about the buffets though. Enjoy!

If I remember right, Biergarten has the "kiddie section" of the buffet with Mac&Cheese, chicken nuggets, etc.
I think all buffets have them...It was funny to see all the non-adventurous adults hitting that section at Boma last time we were there.

I'm glad to read this b/c when we went in May we didn't eat here but the rest of our group does. My hubby is a picky eater but not near as picky as my son. I just figured that my son would leave hungry so we ate at Coral Reef instead.

If they have nuggets on the kids buffet then he would get enough to eat. Thanks!

Well we got the ADR for our first night in the world! 20 days from today. Yea!

I disagree about the kids liking it. Both of my daughter's thought the food tasted weird, and my 5yo will eat anything. My 5yo had a great time though dancing and getting up on the dance floor with her daddy. I would recommend it but keep in mind the food is not for picky kids.

1st trip was 2 1/2 DD and 10 DS.
Both are pretty adveturous but DD picked that trip to become picky.
Well she ate more at biergarten than anywhere else that week.
2 yrs later we went with my picky niece who was 10, and my sister's picky boyfriend.both found plenty to eat.

The salads and pretzel bread were a big hit with DNi and DD. I do not see hot dogs on the menu, but I know that they were on the buffet both times we ate there.

This is really funny to me that the picky eaters are liking Biergarten. Only because the same thing happened to us. My sister and I brought our children who were 4 and 7 at the time and they were both picky eaters and they LOVED it. It is one of the only restaurants that my daughter still talks about to this day. She practically inhaled the food that night we ate there. Plus we sat next to a group of German guys who knew all of the songs and traditions so they were getting us into it as well...it was great. Truly a memory.

I'm so glad I added this ADR! When at WDW, the experience is more important to me than the cuisine, but it's always nice to know that the food is also good, especially for Princess Picky Pants!

My DD, also 5 loves Biergarten and she too is a picky eater. She doesn't even like hot dogs. However, she LOVES bratwurst! She also loves the spaetzle. They do have a weiner and mac and cheese area for kids.

This is my dh's favorite place (he likes the big beer, lol) and we all really like it... my kids eat a lot when we're there and always have so much FUN! We always go at lunch time and have never (knock on wood) needed an ADR (we always go in the summer).....

My daughter is extremely picky. The only thing she would eat there was a weiner (we told her it was a hot dog) and a roll. And desert of course!

She did have a great time dancing though and asks to go back! Good luck!
