Biergarten - dinner entertainment ?

At dinner, does Biergarten have entertainment ?

It might be a great place for our first night dinner at WDW.
We will be at YC or Dolphin.

DH is from German decent.

They did last December. We went there as part of the Candlelight Processional package, and my parents LOVED it. They loved the German music, and loved watching the children gather around and participate. I loved the starchy food...slept well that night

Yep, they have a band that plays and sings, etc. onstage.

We just ate here this past week and it was our favorite dinner all week. We went with our 2 year old and 1 year old and it was so much fun. The entertainment was great. They bring the kids out onto the dance floor to let them dance and they do great sing alongs. Well worth it. The food was good too.

They have a short show every hour or so. Usually, no matter what time you are seated, you will catch the show at some point. We went there long ago when my DD was almost 4 years old. She had a blast getting on the dance floor and doing the chicken dance and some other stuff.

wow - my kids know the Chicken Dance - wiggle, arms fly & clap clap clap.
They even know a bench dance - not sure of the name. Their Gram taught it to them when they were little.

Good choice! We can't have a Disney vacation without a trip to the Biergarten! We're trying to talk my family into trying it this November with us. They're not sure about the food but we're trying to convince them the entertainment and the atmosphere is worth trying "our German vood".

Most German's would probably be disappointed in the food. It does try to be "German" and it is, but I would call the food "moderate."
