Biergarten - Dinner better than lunch?

Last time we were at Epcot, we ate at Biergarten for lunch and loved the food. The "show" wasn't all that great, but I think it's because nobody was really there for a 2:00 lunch. :)

This time, I'm planning on doing a 7:30ish dinner. Do you think that it'll be more fun for the kids with the "show"?

We dined at Biergarten for an early dinner at 5pm within the last week and enjoyed it a lot. There was a lot of guest participation down on the dance floor too, cold beer and a great selection of food options. If you check the menus you will see a slight difference.

Yes, I think it's a lot more fun at dinner. The band feeds off the energy of the crowd, and the kids dancing are just so cute.

Also, as MissionMouse pointed out, there are a few extra items on the menu that we really enjoy, including sauerbraten and rinderouladen. Or at least they were there at our last dinner, and the menu seemed to imply that they are not available at lunch (it's been a few years since we've done lunch there, so I don't recall those specifics).

Dinner is considerably more expensive, as well, although if you're on the dining plan it doesn't really matter.

is more fun when there are others enjoying it with you. Also there are usually a few items added to the dinner buffet. Sauerbraten is one that has been added in the past and a reason I usually like dinner more.

We recently had a 7:30 dinner reservation and got seated around 7:45. We were informed the last show would begin at 8pm which it did but it was a much shorter show than the lunch shows we have seen. No Alphorn or bells and just a few songs.

I've never eaten there at lunch but the dinner menu looks much better at dinner than lunch. We always go for dinner because thats when they serve sauerbraten.

the evening always seems better, more entertaiment. To bad they can not serve my moms sauerbrauten:love:. We have done both lunch and dinnier and by far the Dinnier seems better. We have ADR for Dinnier for our up comeing trip:cool1:

Really?? Is this always the case? Can anyone else confirm? We have 7:30 ADRs that now I'm worried about

We had dinner there last September and the 8 PM show was shorter. I, too, was surprised when they didn't perform on the bells and alpenhorn. There were some songs and dancing, but that was about it.
