Biergarten buffet

We always eat at the Biergarten buffet (Epcot, Germany) as it is my husband's favorite. We have to go for dinner though, because the saurbraten is the big reason he likes to go there and I don't think that's served with lunch. Now that our sons outnumber us, lunch is much easier than dinner (better moods) and so, I am wondering, for an extra price would there be any way to get saurbraten at lunch time? (Purchasing the buffets for each of us, as well, of course.) Thanks!

I think if you go right at the time that lunch switches to dinner you may be able to get the item and at the lower price

This is true. The Biergarten is not going to bring out one dish just for your husband but if you get a seating for the latest lunch time, they will switch over to the dinner buffet at some point in your visit and you can enjoy those offerings. Of course, if you want the band, you have to plan it carefully but you can do it. Having one of those huge beers will help.

This will be our first time at the Biergarten, finally convinced the DW to lets try something different. Can't wait especially especially for the huge beer like disnut8 says. But we have always got the beers outside before to watch lluminations, Germany is a real good area to watch that.

Your best and probably only bet is to book the latest lunch possible and hope they put out dinner entrees early.Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.Sauerbraten is only available at dinner and they aren;t going to put it out earlier than that.I am a huge fan of the sauerbraten too and I will only book dinners now.We tried the booking the latest lunch and they still hadn't put it out by the first dinner slots.

Thanks for the replies! I think we'll just go at 5pm as planned. I don't want to be one of those folks who goes to Old Country Buffet for breakfast and then stays for lunch!!!
