Biergarten.... Beer or not???

Can someone shed some light on drinks offered at Biergarten please. Ofcourse there is beer. How much do they charge for a beer during the dinner meal and other than the food what other drinks are offered or included in your meal.

From what I remember, you could get beer in a couple of sizes. We got the beer flights, and it was $10 or $12 for 4 "sample" beers.

I don't remember what other drinks were served, other than soft drinks, of course.

They have a full bar. There are beer flights, small beers, and mega beers. They have wine flights and glasses of wine and bottles of wine.

If you get a mega beer and can't finish it, you can get a "to go" cup. It seems to be the norm there.

We were just there a week ago Monday and my DH also had this. It is huge, but an excellent value if you can drink it, because he paid $7 for a much smaller beer just outside the restaurant in another part of the Germany Pavillion.

As another poster mentioned they do have wine samplers too. I am not a big fan of German wine, it is way too sweet and acidic for me. However I did try the sampler at Biergarten, I didn't enjoy all of them, but they had one which was a little drier so it wasn't a complete loss!

i brought home my beer/wine menu from our Jan trip.
1/2 liter is $7.50 and as others posted $10.00 for a liter
includes: Beck's Regular, Hefe Weisse, Beck's Dark, & Spaten Optimator

a flight includes a 6 oz pour of each of the above for $10.00

a Riesling wine flight is offered: 3 pours of 3 oz each for $12.50
there are several white wines sold by the glass and bottle starting at $7.50 per glass.
there is one pinot noir offered.

i had a liter of beer and was ready for a nap after lunch!

Beck's and the hefeweizen are light in color (and body).

Mine too.

I've rarely been able to get him out on the dancefloor. He happily got up and danced the polka with me! Our kids were hysterical and I think the honeymooners that sat at our table just thought we were nuts.

Wow thanks everyone for the response. Everything was so helpful but I'm sorry to say that we are now doing Teppan Edo instead. They had a last minute spot for us and I snagged it. I thought that if I need to Biergarten should be pretty easy to get in for a last minute ressie.
