Biergarten- any good?

We are thinking of trying the Biergarten at the German pavillion. I'd like some feedback. Good or bad value for the dollar?? Noticed on Deb Wills' site that the drinks and desserts are not included. Is this true? What kind of a buffet is that that does not include dessert?- best part of the meal!!!

Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

We felt that the Biergarten was worth the money. The food was good, and so was the band/show.

BTW, Norway's Auskerhus(sp) buffet does not include dessert.

Biergarten seems to be a must do for our family as we actually cancelled reservations elsewhere when everyone decided they must go back for our last meal in the world. Dessert is included, drinks are not. I hope this helps!

We love Biergarten! DH lived in Germany for 6 months and finds this pretty authentic. Yes, dessert is definitely included. Before we went the first time, I'd read some negative posts here and had second thoughts. Was so glad we kept our ressies and decided for ourselves. Come to think of it, I'd also made ressies somewhere else last time, and we had to cancel them because DH insisted on returning to Biergarten.

We tried it for the first time recently and loved it. Food was good but entertainment was awesome. Family had a blast.

We love Biergarten. It is my 14 DS's favorite restaurant in the world (the "real" world not WDW LOL). It certainly ranks way up there with DD and I too. DH likes it buts says if you're use to real German (as in home cooking) it lacks something. He's still looking for a pork cutlet in a cheese sauce that the mother of a friend use to make when DH lived in Germany
Dessert is included, has been since our first trip in 2000 at least.
