Hello, Newbie here!

I have read a bit about the Biergarten buffet in Germany on the Boards here, and from the descriptions and the menu I have seen, I think that I would really enjoy having a meal there.

My question is: Would my DD13 find enough to eat and enjoy there? She has kind of "little-childlike" taste; only likes plain food (no spices), and no mixtures. Like, just plain meat, with potato or noodle next to it (but no food touching another!). I see the menu has sausages, chicken schnitzel, roast pork. Are they good choices for Miss Picky Eater?

I would really like to go to this authentic German buffet, but not if DD is miserable about the food selection for herself...

What do you think?

Oh yes..she should find plenty to eat..foods not touching each other. The food is great...go and enjoy!

She should be fine - lots of choices in that buffet and many things are served "seperately" - for example, just sausages, not sausages in sauerkraut etc. I wouldn't exactly call this an "authentic" German experience, but good nonetheless. One of my favorite places to eat at Disney.

I can't remember for sure, but most of the buffets have "child friendly" options - chicken fingers or mac and cheese (or both).

I think she will do fine

(My aunt, who lived in Germany, and our tablemate (you share tables with strangers at this restaurant) who was from Munich both found the food and atmophere to be reasonably authentic).

I'm now remembering what we fed my four year old....hot dogs. And spaetzle.
