Has anyone been to this yet? would love to hear reviews.
Anybody booked to go?

There have been several reviews if you search on Bibbidi Bobbido Boutique I am sure you will find some.

DD was scheduled to go on Sunday, but our weekend was just way to full, so I changed the ressie to the next Saturday - May 6th. I am looking forward to it for her!

I have been to WOD several times since it opened, and have seen several "princesses" when they were done with their pampering. The salon is very cute, and the girls looked great!

Hi, my girls did it on April 3. We were walkins before they officially opened. This experience was one of their absolute favorite on our trip - and we had a magical, fantastic time, so that is saying a lot! :wizard:

I posted a little review and lots of pics on the Resorts board Grand Floridian information thread, on page 118 post 1757. Here is a link. Hope it works!

Thanks Lives4Disney for the thread your girls look lovely, very sweet.Looks as if they had a great time. How long did it take to do?was you in and out in an hour? Thanks.I have 2 DDs that would love to have this done.

:)

Sharon, I think it only took about 30 minutes. The girls were made up at the same time and it wasn't overly long. I really think this is another gold mine for Disney. The place is adorable & the Fairygodmothers are super sweet and I think they do a very nice job - it was just such fun for them and fun for me to watch, too. My girls left with "goody bags" containing their press on nails (they opted to have them painted) and a little makeup palette with the makeup that was used on their faces, and they received the pink banners. I am afraid from now on this is going to be a "must do" and we will be making trips to DTD every vacation. ;)

The Fairy Godmothers put so much styling stuff and hairspray in the girls' hair that the styles lasted 3 days! My girls slept on their backs, still as stone to keep from messing it up, though. :teeth:

Have a great time,

My DD is scheduled to go on 5/27. Her Birthday is 5/31 so this will be her gift. She's turning 5. We went for the full package with the costume and the photos.

She has been asking to go there since before it was even open. I'm sure she will love it.

Thanks,
Frank :wizard:

Let us know Frank How your DD gets on.Hope she has a magical 5th Birthday experience :wizard:

I called this morning to make an appt. for my DD's BBB experience and the CM told me that they are now doing a "Cool Dude" experience for the little guys. And it's only $10. They get their hair gelled and sparkled and are pampered like the girls. I made an appointment for my little man!!

It reminds me of the store Libby Lu's Just the Disney version.

how neat. your girls are adorable. I'll have to think about doing it for our upcoming trip in July. dd has all the costumes already so that would save me some $$$. she had her birthday party at snip its so this is right up her alley. by chance do you know the latest they will take a appt? we have a 6:40 PS at 1900 park fare. thanks..

I just made my reservation for next Saturday and was told that 5:10 is the latest they take. That is what I have. We are going to 1900 PK also for dinner that night! :)

Anybody know how long that appt takes? We have the Crown package.

Shelley

Times are 9.30am-6pm...I think they close at 6pm,If you made an appointment for 5pm that would give you plenty of time. Coach 20min,Crown 30min or Castle 40min appointments.

"Cool Dude" version sounds well cool, its nice that the boys can be included as well :thumbsup2

we saw boys with the cool dude this past week. Their hair was spiked and colored in very bright colors. (red and blue I think), plus they had mickey head shaped glitter all over their hair (tons of it)

I just booked it :cool1: took the last session at 5:10pm. I had no idea all this was over at the WOD- we were just there in december. ds is going to love the pirate room!

Mamalle,Pleased you got it sorted :cool1: :cool1: Show us some photos if you can when youve been :wizard:

So glad to hear they have something for boys!! How cool!! :cool1:
We are taking DD there to do the Castle Package on her 9th birthday!! :yay:
She has no clue!! :thumbsup2
Now I'll have to see if my little man can get his hair spiked at the same time!! :teeth:

Here's a review I wrote on another thread.

Well, we are back from our trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. It was a lot of fun! I went with my DD(5) and DN(4). My daughter got the Coach package - hair and makeup. She wore her own dress. My niece got the Castle - the works. Both girls were treated the same - like royalty. We had the first ressies of the day, 9:30, but there were a LOT of people already there. They have a bunch of stations to do the makeovers. I didn't count, but I guess about 10.

My daughter got the "Fairy Tale" hairstyle. It was traditional. Her hair was up in a bun with a small tiara in front and a Mickey Mouse "bling" clip in back. They sprinkled pixie dust in her hair and had her wear a Miss America type of banner thing that said Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on it. There was a photopass guy there who took her picture throughout most of the process. She was also able to take home the left over makeup that was used on her. We were then sent to the scrapbooking store at the Marketplace (World of Memories?). She did a photo shoot there and we were able to put all of the shots on the photopass card. She also was asked to sign her name in a Princess Registry book so she could come back one day and look at it.

My niece got the Pop Princess hairstyle. She has short hair, so it was nice for her to be able to have long hair with the extensions. She was able to pick an outfit from the Princess closet. Then they took her to the dressing room to get changed. They did her hair and makeup next. She had all the treatments mentioned above and was also sent for a photo shoot. Her package came with some photos, so her mom left with some on the spot.

After the makeovers we headed to MK for lunch with the princesses at the Royal Table. The girls got a lot of attention throughout the park that day. Especially when we park hopped to EPCOT where girls in princess dresses are less the norm than at the MK.

My overall recommendation is that if you have little girls, you should go. Wear your own princess dress and save some $, because you are treated no differently. Get the first ressie of the day, so the little princess can wear her hair for the entire day. It was money well spent.

Hope this helps . . .
