We have a quick trip planned in early August and will have our bikes with us. We are staying at the BC and have arranged to have the bikes stowed with the bell staff. Is it possible to actually bike to the parks? Are there bicycle racks at the park entrance? Are there any bike paths? I would love to be able to bike over to Epcot from the BC and maybe the water parks.

The only bike paths are in areas and resorts that Disney rents bikes and provides an areas to ride them. Such as Fort Wilderness.

No bike racks or paths at the Beach Club. They do rent surrey bikes at the Boardwalk to ride around the lake but there is no place provided to use your own bike.

It would be very dangerous to try and ride your bike to the water parks. Again no bike racks provided and the roads are very busy and many people are not good drivers. Rental cars, ets. I would not even attempt it.

If you want to take your bikes over to Fort Wilderness and ride that is the only area I can think of that would be pleasant, bike friendly and safe to ride your own bikes.

I can't say anything about the other parks - but from BC to Epcot it would take you longer to lock your bike once you get there (if there is even a place to do it) then it would just to walk there :) It is only about 5 minutes door to gate.

I'm not sure if bikes are allowed on the walking path to MGM - If you took it you would have to go at a very leisurely rate - there will be a lot of strollers, etc. If it is allowed it would be a fun but very short ride. I like your idea of biking to the parks - I sure wish Disney were more friendly to this healthy alternative mode of transportation. It wouldn't hurt to call - but I wouldn't count on much riding.

It is very unsafe for one to ride thier bike along the roads on Disney property. Fort Wilderness is the only place one can ride thier bike.

some of the spread out resorts - CBR, PO, OKW, CSR, have bike paths too.

BC is not on the list - if you like to bike you are staying at the wrong place.

if you like to walk you are staying at a great place. the walking path to Epcot and Studio is pretty nice. I would walk to Epcot definitely it is a very short walk. To the Studios if I wanted to get there in a hurray I would probably also walk it - but taking the boats is also an option - a very, very nice option in my opinion.

If biking is very important to you I would suggest switching your ressies to FW. You will love to bike there! Another place to consider would be the WL as the bike path from FW is connected to WL. (The whole thing would be a lot easier at FW) Also, the cabins are lovely.
