I have been planning on buying a box of the Pampers Bibsters (disposable bibs) for our DS (he will be 23 months on our cruise) to use while we are on board, instead of dealing with washing bibs the whole time. Then I found these really cool bib clips (http://www.kipiis.com) that turn any napkin, dishtowel, etc, into a bib. But as I was planning all this my hubby asked if they had bibs on the ship.
So my question is do your servers provide bibs or the equivilent at dinner, etc if you have a toddler or bib age wearing child?
I am asuming I should keep my plan of providing our own bibs, but was wondering just the same?

When we went on our 2nd cruise we found a thread that stated bibs were provided and that they were pampers disp bibs. Well we found out the hard way that DCL does not have bibs for children. We will bring our own disp bibs on this cruise and save ourselves alot of laundry. We ended up doing 4 loads on the ship because I was afraid that the clothes would stain if they were left to sit.

They do have cloth napkins at dinner so you could use that if you can get it to stay around the childs neck. WE didn't have very good luck with this. I believe at the buffets there are paper napkins and these didn't help us much either.

So I guess just bring your own.

The dinner napkins were large enough that I could tie the securely about my 3 and 5 year old. I'd say leave the disposable bibs at home. Bring a clothes pin or binder clip to secure it if you want, but I tied mine and they stayed.
