Hi, I will be going on a trip to Disney with my family in December. I have 3 girls ages 6 (she will almost be 7 by then), and twin 3 year olds. I was wondering about the princess makeover at the Cinderella Castle. How much is it? Would it be worth getting my littlest ones done too - they love playing dress up! What does it entail? And how soon should I book it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

You can book BBB 90 days out like all other ressies these days.
I think your girls will love it. You are never to young or old to want to be a princess.
There are 2 locations. One in the castle at the MK and one in the world of disney store in DTD.
There are three different packages that you can choose from. This is copied from WDW site:

Girls 3 years old and above can choose from 3 hair styles — Fairytale Princess, Disney Diva and Pop Princess — in 3 available packages:

•Coach Package includes hairstyling and shimmering makeup — starting at $49.95 plus tax.
•Crown Package includes hairstyling, shimmering makeup and nails — starting at $54.95 plus tax.
•Castle Package includes the Crown Package plus the Imaging Package (one 6" x 8" and four 4" x 6" photos in a princess-themed photo holder) and complete costume of your choice with accessories — starting at $189.95 plus tax.

The optional Imaging Package includes one 6" x 8" and four 4" x 6" photos in a princess-themed photo holder.

The World of Disney Store location offers a wide variety of beautiful accessories — including ponytail hairpieces and tiaras.

We usually bring our own costume and DD gets her hair and nails done. I now bring a mega hold hairspray with me for her fine hair as the spray BBB carries is a very fine mist.
We like the location in DTD better as they offer way more in the way of choices for accessories than the location at the MK.

Thanks for the advice. I was wondering if I was able to bring a disney costume of our own, and then they can just get the hair and nails done. That's good too because it will be waaaaay easier to afford If I got the crown package instead of the delux package. Thanks again.

Do it! Your daughters will love it! We brought an Aurora fancy dress. My daughter loved it. It was funny though, the girls that have not had it done really notice the girls that have. Once they have it done they seem more friendly to the girls that have been princessified. Beware -- I found it very emotional. I was really surprised and I was not the only one Mom's and Dad's had tears in their eyes.

We will also be there in December, actually Nov.30 - Dec. 8. Both of my girls 4yrs. old and 8 yrs. old, had it done last December. They loved it! My mother made their Belle and Cinderella dresses and she made them extra special. All of the CM's there at BBB, resorts, restuarants, and at the parks all commented on how beautiful and different their dresses were. There dresses were much prettier and less itchy than the costumes that they sell there. So, if you know someone who sews you can have one made. Or just bring a costume that you already have. I would definately recommend bringing your own, it will save mega $$$! We brought our girls dressed and ready to go to the MK location. They do have an area for you to change if you need to. It truly is a MAGICAL experience! Have fun and maybe we will see you there.:)
