Sometimes I think someone sneaks in at night and cuts out part of my brain : ( I booked dinnner at Cinderella's castle at MK for December this year, with every intention of booking BBB also. I remembered the first part, and completely forgot the second I have no idea how :sad2:

DD is only just about to turn 4, and we haven't done it before.

The meal is booked for 4:15, but when I called today having a flash of panic that I hadn't booked BBB, the only time available the whole day is 3:40, and so not enough time before dinner. There is now no other available time for dinner.

We are only in Orlando for 2 days as we are staying down on the Gulf Coast, so the only option I had was to book at Downtown Disney the day before. I am really kicking myself. I am trying to make myself feel better by thinking we will effectively have an extra hour at MK, plus DD may be all made up for the whole day at MK if the makeup and hair last the night, but I'm worried it won't be the same as having it done at MK. I am not sure what to do - will it still be worth it? Please make me feel better!!

My dd has been to dtd and the castle for her makeover. Both are great to little girls so don't worry. My dd had the bun hairstyle and it was still perfect the next day, also once they have done the makeover you get the left over nail polish and make up to take home with you. So the next morning you will be able to redo your dd's make up.

You will be fine and your dd gets to be a princess for 2 days :thumbsup2

We've done it several times, and we're all adults, although we have always been to the DTD one. Every little girl is treated like a princess, so I don't think she will have less of an experience by visiting the DTD one.

Also, not sure if they still do it, but the last time we did DTD we took part in the Princess parade. It was at 2pm, and anyone who had been BBB'ed that day got paraded through the downtown area from World of Disney over to the carousel, and then we all got a free ride!

You'll also find that they do the hair styles so well and with so much hairspray (that actually comes out really easily!) that we had ours up for four days, and it would have lasted longer had we not been so desperate to go to the water parks! We have all regularly kept the hair styles in place for a couple of days. A few bobby pins (or hair spray) and it's good to go. And as previously said, your DD will get to be a princess for two days.

If she chooses the princess style it will DEFINITELY still be in the next day.

DD has had this twice done age 3 and 4. The bun is cemented into place with so much gel.

DD's looked immaculate day 2 and still ok day 3. Don't swim in between.

They give you a bag with the make up palette in, face jewels and nail polish so you can touch her up prior to CRT.

On the plus side I think it can be quite overwhelming to do both together for a little one and nice to space out two special experiences.

The benefits of DTD is that she will be walking from the front of the park all the way to dinner as a princess which people will comment on:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Also, keep the day before appointment but keep ringing up to the appointment to see if there is a cancellation for the day at the MK dinner:thumbsup2

Thanks everyone! I feel a lot better, and it is definitely a bonus that she will get to be a princess for two days princess: It's also great to know they let you keep the makeup etc so we can re-do it all for our MK day.

I really appreciate your help, thank you :goodvibes
