I thought I read somewhere that they were doing another version of the Bibidiboutque for boys with pirates? pirate: Did I make that up??

Is there a version for boys? :confused3

TIA

When I called today, the CM said that there is (or maybe will be??) a pirate room where the men's clothing used to be in the World of Disney store. (Adventure Room?????????) She said they would be able to make pirate hats, etc. in there. Sounds fun to me!! :thumbsup2

Someone on another post said they had inquired about making appts for the pirate room, and they were told that there were no appts necessary for it. Appts. were only taken for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

I was told that no appointment was needed for the boys...it's just in another section of the World of Disney store. The boys can make pirate hats and I also heard something about some computer games they can try out in there. Maybe also something about a treasure chest, but I'm not too sure on that one. Have fun!!!

I haven't been there personally, but I read on another thread that they can also fill their own skull (not their own personal skull that sits on their neck :rotfl2: ) but a pirate looking skull. I don't know what they can fill it with...maybe rum? Just kidding. I think they can fill it w/pirate's booty (not the booty they sit on, but gold coins and stuff). :goodvibes

I was gonna say that be a pretty interesting feat for a lil pirate dude ;)

What's the age start on that?

sorry for the duplicate, I forgot to choose instant email!!

Here are some pics of the pirate room if you click on this link - http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e291/makasper/Downtown%20Disney/?start=40 (Princess Room pics start on page 4)
Lots of POC theming going on. I didn't check out the hat making, but were were checking out the "fill a skull" area - it's like Mr Potato Head - stuff as much as you can in a skull (in the Princess Room they have a jewel box, and have bracelets, and such).

The things for the skull included an eye patch, compass, mini skull, plastic eye balls, brains and hearts, coins, hmmm - what else - there were 12 or more compartments of things to choose from. The are that it is in is where the men's stuff used to be, and you can't miss the entrance to that area, as it has a big Stitch over the door.

If we get back there this weekend (maybe to the movies tomorrow evening) I will try and get more photos. People were browsing and getting in the way of my photo ops.... how dare they!

Thanks for the pics! It looks kind of scary. My DS are 5 and almost 3. Is it scary?

TIA!!

Have thye ever gone on POC? If so probably not. I'm not a great judge, because my DD was not fearful of things like that at any age... she realized the difference between real and make believe early I guess.

The skeletons in the cells that are on either side of the entrance from the outside might be a little intimidating/startling to small kids if you enter or exit by that door. You can avoid that entrance/exit, by entering/exiting another on of the door at WOD- the rest of it is not bad. There is one Pirate who talks - he is sitting above the area where they "stuff the skulls", and very reminiscent of the POC pirates in the ride.

Please tell me they just moved the men's section and didn't get rid of it entirely? DH will not be a happy camper if he can't add to his collection of discreet Mickey ties anymore.
