My DD 6 and DS 10 have appointments for the boutique at 8:50am. I originally was going to have the couch package and wear one of her current dresses. But I've just noticed all of her costumes are too little. I tried to order one online but they did not have her size. My question is: Are all the princess dresses the same price once you get to WDW? Do they cost the same in the boutique as the other shops? Does anyone have any tips or pictures of the cool dudes hairstyle? thanks:goodvibes

All of the princess dresses are the same price throughout WDW. Last time if I remember correctly they were about $69.99 each.

Hope this helps. The dresses are the same price all over WDW. Last trip we went to BBB in MK. It was fairly small in the waiting area but definatley worth a visit. DD1 did not get her outfit at BBB purely because she was just 3 and a little overwhelmed by the experience so I got her changed into belle just before she went through this was a little tight as we went in the afternoon and it was really busy. As we did not get the castle package she had to change in waiting area. This visit we are going to DTD BBB as this is larger and the area for the girls to pick outfits and change is much larger. Going for the castle package this time around. They pick outfit first and then get hair and stuff done. It is wonderful for the little girls they just feel like little princess's. DS had a cool dude hairstyle last time I have a picture on our other computer which I can transfer over. I thought this trip he wouldn't want to do this but he has already picked our his colours for his hair :)

thanks gallmcduck!:goodvibes So you would recommend getting the castle package. I was just going to buy a dress down there and have her already dressed. I thought this might would save time. :confused3 My son is excited but also a little worried about what they are going to do to his hair.:scared1:

I have appts for two granddaughters at mk, I was planning on their dresses, shoes, crowns...being part of the surprise. Isn't there a private dressing room? TY:confused3

From the experience that we had I would say so. That's not to say if I had asked a CM they may have let me change somewhere :confused3. My niece was there at the same time having the castle package there was about 10 mins difference. At MK you have to go to a diff location for the photos think it is down main street. They are really gentle and it washes out v quickly.

I do not think you can use this unless you are getting the castle package. There was nothing obvious in the waiting area at MK. Perhaps if I had asked a CM they would have shown me somewhere :confused3 Whilst waiting I was changing DD there was plenty CM's walking past me and in the same area I presumed they would have shown me if there was somewhere.

We got the basic package plus nail polish and they let DD6 cahnge in their dressing room at the MK location. We brought a dress from home. Your son might really enjoy the "Pirate's league" instead. Just a suggestion...they do boy pirate "makeovers"...

We did the Coach package 2 years ago...and then I took dd across to Tink's Treasures and let her pick out her own costume (she even found one on clearance that she wanted, so it was $45) so our total for hair/makeup/outfit was around $90 instead of $189...and they had photopass photographers in the MK location, and I took my own pics as well...so did not need any package pics...She picks at her nails, so that would have been a waste on her...:rotfl2:

Honestly, if they don't know they have any other options, they will be thrilled with whatever they get...:cloud9:

If money is an issue, go to a thrift store and buy a costume...borrow one from a friend or a daycare...I loan mine to neighbors all the time...and my third daughter will probably NEVER get a brand new princess costume...our Snow White costume is handed down from our 21 year old neice...been through 5 kids so far...We have Tinkerbell, Cinderella, Jasmine, Unless she suddenly wants Belle or Ariel, our youngest gets the hand-me-downs...princess:

is there any way to see which dresses they have for sale there?

I don't think so, other than to call in advance? but you can always shop Disneystore.com and see what they have on clearance...or you can shop the Halloween costume online stores... Or, watch for the costumes at Wal-mart after/before Halloween ($20 at W-mart better than $60 at WDW, right?) and they start putting them out in August, so you can get them early...

We did the BBB in July 2008 and it was awesome! We were at the castle location and we brought our dress with us. They let us take her in the dressing room and get her dressed, and then all of the magic bagan after that... princess: She definately gelt like a princess and after that was done we surprised her with breakfast at Cinderellas Royal Table with all of the princess' ;)

My mother in law looked for costumes for my DD in the Disney Store before X-mas. She asked why there was such a price difference between two similar looking Belle costumes and was told that the cheaper one was a Halloween costume. Then they told her that the prices on Halloween costumes would drop even more after X-mas. If you're looking for low cost, this is one option. My DD now has a dress up closet full of Disney Princess costumes.

That is wonderful.:thumbsup2 That is really the only way to go but my problem was the sizes are limited. We went to websites and couldn't find the costume she wanted so .... I guess I'll be buying the costume at Disney in 2 weeks.!!

Where do you get the "pirate's league"? Is it at the BBB in MK? or another location:confused3
The pirate's league is by the (you guessed it) Pirate's of the caribbean.

2 years ago my little great nephew had the cool dude and he chose red and blue "gel" and the girl made a Mickey head with the gel and then she put tons of glitter/confetti stuff in his hair..he loved it:) Last year I took his sister to BBB and she had her hair, nails, and make up done..she received a Birthday Princess sash, tiara and a rhinestone Mickey barrette for the back of her hair. She wore a sundress as I knew she would be too hot and stickey with the fancy Princess dresses that they sell at WDW...She did buy some glittery shoes with Mickey heads on them and she looked beautiful...she received the make up and nail polish in a cute little BBB bag..she made the comment when we were leaving the Castle, that she didn't know she could look so beautiful:) She brought tears once again:) She loved the experience:) and it was so worth the money:)
