Bibbidi Bobbidi with short hair

Has anyone's child had a makeover at BB if the child has short hair?

We have a trip planned for the end of August. And my 4 1/2 year old gave herself a haircut that required a trip to have it all chopped off. So now she has a short bob that is similar to Snow White's hair, but a little shorter. We have an appointment our first morning at BB and then lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table.

All the hair styles I can find online have the child's hair pulled back. There is no way we are going to have enough growth to have her hair pulled back.
I'm wondering if I should work on a plan B and cancel the appointment.

I think the Diva hairstyle choice would only need that amount of hair as they simply add a faux ponytail, however, the traditional fairytale princess (the one with the super slicked back bun and tiny tiara) definitely needs hair to bun up....they are all fun but my girls have always gone for the traditional look..not because its superior, but because they are scared of change

I'd stick to your plan, take her and enjoy. They will do a great job and she will look adorable. I'll never forget my nephew and niece. He was five she was almost four and he cut one of her ponytails off VERY close to her head. My poor sister was so upset and we had a family xmas picture planned. We look back at the picture now and laugh......Have a great trip.

Thank you both. We also have family photos at the beach in July 5th with my sister's family. Thankfully, she looks cute in the new hair cut. It's just been a shock.

I will fully admit, she will be happy with whatever. But I wanted to see her have the full Princess treatment with the bun and tiara. I'm sure the trip will still be magical.

We went to BBB before when our daughter had a short bob-her hair basically made it to the bottom of her jaw. She still got the tiara and princess bun, but they left a little of the shorter hair out of the bun in the back and it still looked good. They will do their best to give her what they want and they can usually do the bun.

Bless her, it is really short. I don't know that a bun is going to be possible even with the growth until August. Her hair has always been slow to grow.

But I would be happy with her being Snow White as long as the appointment isn't a waste because of the hair situation.

She's adorable! And she'll still get her nails and makeup done and a crown put on, I'd still do it. She'll love being a special princess that day, bun or no.

Thank you! She is adorable in the hair cut. I'm holding onto the appointment for now. I just have to adjust my expectations. I'm sure the appointment will be so much fun for her, but I admit I'm going to have to get over feeling like it is less than magical because it's not what I envisioned when I booked.

I don't mean to tell you how to live your life, but try your best not to pre-script your vacation. The more of it you let happen as it will rather than expecting something to go exactly a certain way, so much the better. I say this because I almost ruined my first trip with my expectations. Behind booking, from now on I just kind of let it happen, and my last vacation was SO MUCH BETTER for it.

I will remember your tip. I'm usually pretty easy going on vacation. I know Disney can bring out the worst in planner type people. Which I am a planner in most aspects, just not usually vacations. Thanks for the comments.
